Brisbane are one of the worst teams in the league this season, which is saying something WSW are probably equivalent to Hibs, there’s always some drama and occasionally play decent football but ultimately fail.

Would be quite handy if we were able to buy up some of that land. A full rotation of the pitch would probably be out of the question (from memory one of your options?) but would potentially allow a good stand to replace the south, and potentially shift the alignment of the pitch to allow future main stand redevelopment.

I’m surprised JT hasn’t worked out (he must have), that Morris is a super sub and cannot play from the get go. But I don’t get how or why we’re only a second half team? We know we’ve got weaknesses and we probably gave ourselves a false start with this squad but the drop off has been alarming. Can almost understand on the road but not at home. Standard this season has been particularly poor. League is broke so more are going to try and use academy / youth to try and turn profits on players but that’s going to take time. Anyway, Newcastle are pretty shite and Adelaide are a bit hot and cold this season. I’ve needed something to latch on to and the nix are that. Quality generally isn’t as good as home but I am glad we’ve now got another kiwi team, even though we haven’t beaten them yet. Nice having an actual away side.

Weather sounds like it's going to be pretty miserable again on Sat, high winds and rain. So a probable shite fixture just got worse. Really need to get back to winning ways, do we see MacKenzie back into the team? I don't think McGarry put a foot wrong over the last two games tbh, and if JM isn't signing a new deal, heart says i'd be tempted to ditch him but head says we should play our best team. If we can maintain the level of performance against the saints as we did against Celtic, then I think we should be fine, but we really do need to take the chances when provided with them. That's ultimately why we lost to them. Saints are on a similar run in form to us, i.e. only won 1 out of the last 5, albeit we've got two draws rather than defeats. Out Bed Bed hopefully out and about. 2-1 dons, Nisbet and Sokler.

Thought Polvara looked very good when he came on, which is exactly what we needed. Is nilsen suspended this weekend?

I think frustrating is how I'd sum that up. We definitely went toe to toe with them, which was the level of performance we've been missing, but fuck me, CLARKSON! Had all the time in the world to sort that shot out and then the one moment Devlin has a complete brain fart when the rest of the defence did their job, they score. I thought Doohan was great tonight and I think he deserves a mention, McGarry. He did his job and didn't really put a foot wrong. Had one wayward pass (because of the conditions) but as did many others. I wanted him to take a shot in the second but instead it went back to Nilsen. Conditions were a great leveller but just a shame we couldn't see it out. Some block by CV for Soklers effort though. Not sure why Rob McLean was saying just get it on target (it was, it got blocked).

Starting CB for Watford

Not expecting anything from this game in all honesty. They’ve fairly charged on since our game and we’ve now got a couple of injuries to deal with. Be interesting to see of those who started against hearts, start again on wed. Doohan obviously is pretty much guaranteed but unsure of the rest. Does polvara get a chance in this one, be good to get some minutes in his legs after being out for so long. If we get this wrong and it could be a bit of a doing like the cup semi. Be nice if we can keep the GD tally down. Also need all our players to turn up and put in a good shift! Out bed work work 3-0 them, no dons scorer.

Haven’t caught the game yet, but how did the defence and in particular mcgarry play? I’m guessing not great. I’ve the fear of we have to play doohan for any stretch of time.

Love how the good guys in there are clearly annoyed about being called diets (understandably so too). Good on them. That shite has no place in our game.

Yikes, not a great place to be heading to when confidence is having a bit of a wobble and we appear to be a bit fragile. Hearts are always hard at home, unless you're celtic it would seem. I see they're already down against Cercle Brugge, do we want them to get pumped and be demoralised, or does that just fire them up? Personally, I don't think it'll make a difference, they hate us as much as we hate them and they'll see this as an opportunity to slay us. Question is, do we shake up the defence for this one? My thoughts are no, but we probably need the midfield to do a bit more legwork to assist them. Can't legislate for switching off, it just can't happen. Hopefully Sokler get's a big boost from his finish (said that plenty of times, but it's getting a bit more frequent now), and leads the line well. Well, I got the 3 bit right, just not the scorers or result couldn’t watch much of it because of work, but wasn’t able to watch from the 80th min so was surprised to see we’d drawn 3-3. Need to watch the highlights, but that was a pish game. Hopefully this funk we appear to be in is short term as there were a lot of players not at the races today, again. don’t think any of us would have had any qualms about who started the game, so I’m not sure what’s wrong. Soklers goal deserved to win any game, where has this guy been? Get we didn’t realistically deserve much from this, but the team let themselves down. can’t play like that on the weekend, that’s for sure. Lost count the number of wasted passes Nilsen made (not the only offender).

From what I've seen so far, we've been pish. Doesn't surprise me we're 1-0 down.

Also noted in the financial report that we’re not moving from pittodrie for the foreseeable. None of this surprises me.
