Another home game, out last venture before the international break, which feels like it's coming at the wrong time for us. Well were pumped by the huns so that must mean we'll pump them, right? Good old school play ground logic...I think we'll get a draw out of this one, and i'd be pleased enough with that. Given where we were a few weeks back, going through this period undefeated would be some turnaround. Wells form overall has been pretty poor of late, last tasting victory in September (yes, one of their victories was against us) so they're there for the taking. Hoping we don't have any fresh injury doubts and can effectively start with the same team that started the weekend. It's also good to know that the tweak at 1/2 time means we could have a potential plan B. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, Ramirez

I genuinely didn't think their last manager was a bad appointment. How wrong I was.
-
Enjoyed those highlights and definitely seem to correlate with what they were saying on sportsound. Decent passing and Ferguson looked up for it. Surely we have a deal in place for him to go in the summer. I’d rather that than Jan as you never get a good deal then. Gordon looked good as per, that save from Ramirez was very good. Just such a lanky fuck so has great reach.

@Jute what’s happened to Hernandez and Atlanta? Seemed like he was getting decent game time until his birthday?
-
Feels like this will be a true litmus test to see if this team are going to build something. Wednesday was definitely a bonus (didn't see that coming at all) and hopefully the team (management included) will take a lot of heart from that. Likewise the fans. Hearts seem to have stuttered a wee bit. Three draws in their last three games although they haven't lost in some time. So a draw might seem a likely result. Not sure how we stack up injury wise? I'm hoping Ramirez was precautionary rather than a proper injury. He's consistently scoring now so would be a huge loss now our players are actually finding him. Also, I think i'd like to see us stick with Brown at the back, it worked well and means McGeouch can finally get a look in. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-1, think we might nick this one. Ramirez (fingers crossed) and Ferguson.

How the fuck was that a penalty (rhetorical, I already know the answer)?!? Just sickening how predictable it is, but still, 2-2 pre game i'd have beaton your hand off.
-
Have had to stop listening as my VPN doesn't work at work. Is it all them after Morelos' goal?
-
Hopefully just a wee knock and benched as a precaution? Hopefully the fans keep their silence. Save the Hun tears for the end of the game. I’d rather that. into these mutant fucks. COYR

Good point well made fire any questions into the thread, I’m sure you’ll get a few honest answers.
-
Not much pressure on the team for this one. Think most think we’ll get horses but they’re not the team they were last season. We play a logical and organised team we might come away with something any update on the injuries from the weekend? out Work work 2-1 Huns, ferguson

Was a decent ball from brown, excellent play from Ramsay and good finish to end the piece of play from Ramirez. Very pleasing to see; looking forward to the proper highlights. Sounds like Glass tried a plan B?
-
Not much action on this thread despite being match day. Apathy is big, I get that. Anyone had a bout of optimism?

Thanks, tlg, Meh If we some how fluke a win against hibs, or any of the top 6 for that matter, I’d say it’s only papering over the cracks. I could be wrong (hopefully very likely) but I just can’t see this working. I’d be overjoyed if we somehow manage to string a few points together, don’t even care how we get them, but a win and a draw will give us all some hope. Certainly seems like the team’s bereft of any confidence and belief in the “system”. We’re shite at the back, middle and Ramirez isolated at the top. I actually fear for the hearts game the most out of this bunch. Playing well, and scrappy doo (cammy devlin) is doing exactly what I know he’d do. He was who we should have signed, not brown. anyway, hibs will likely want to avenge their own defeat and the more likely to do so. Sorry for being so pessimistic, but I’m struggling to cling to anything about the dons at the mo. Actually, I lie, that’s doing a disservice to Ramsay who is performing well, despite being called out. out bed bed bed 2-0 hibs, no dons scorer

Was on Sportsound just now, haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I know mates have said it was horrendous. Will listen to it myself before passing judgement
-
How are we too good to go down? We’re losing to everyone and not even unlucky about it. Give him a season and we’ll be down. p.s, don’t want cormack out. Not many would have stuck by the club in testing times, for that I’m grateful.

Finished watching Vigil last week. Really good although a few suspect moments. Started watching Cobra, which I believe is a Sky production from last year? Seems ok, although I didn't understand why Sky news would still be broadcasting when no-one has electricity (apart from govt agencies etc).
-
And I thought I was being pessimistic

Well, I did wake up in time for this, but opted not to bother when I saw it was 1-0 them. This is absolute dog shite.

First evening game for a while, great as it means I might actually get to watch it. Round about the boys wake up time. Should be a good boozy crowd for it too, whole days drinking in Dundee , what could go wrong obviously we’re all pretty nervous about this one, right? A lot of teams have managed to get first wins against us this season and sounded like they were unlucky against the Huns but no idea about against the saints. Having only watched our highlights, gone from what’s been said here and a couple of podcasts, it’s been hard to tell whether we were or not so I’m going to go for a score draw here. Our defence is pish and we’re just not clinical enough when we’re in decent attacking situations. Feels like jan is a long way away and too many players not stepping up to the plate. Manager aside, the players are not giving their all. is hedges likely to feature this time? We’re going to rely far too heavily on him but need him to perform. Feels like he might have made the difference last week. As I said, think this’ll be a score draw, our defence is too shite and jittery to cope. Be interesting how McKenzie and Ramsay react to the public criticism from Glass. Form wise, theirs is better than ours, however head 2 head, we’ve not dropped points against them since 2015. out bed home brew day 2-2 , Ramirez and Hayes

Continuing the geordie anguish (sorry Al). I’d find it amusing. And yeah, completely acknowledging your latter point. No denying it. I’m sure I say the same whenever a big money consortium comes in.
-
I’d find it funnier if they failed completely tbh

So how is life like on the ground in the UK? Has the “petrol” crisis eased now? My folks were saying there’s also a shortage of meat and a few other products in London. Only get snippets of news and I’ve grown weary of the UK press.

How is your dons hiatus going , Jute?
-
Listening to the sport sound podcast, they really are split about whether it’s going to work out. Many think there are glimpses and periods of good play. Possibly unlucky not to get the win yesterday.
-
Fuck, I nailed it. If only I was a betting man. I did wake to think thank fuck it was only two. But it seems hard to judge this game, lots of very differing opinions here, online and in chats. how did woods do? I know slim mentioned his distribution was poor, but was there any difference to having Lewis in goal? still, hard to see where these next 3 points are going to come, think we all need to adopt the brace position.
