  1. Agree with both the previous posts. Ferdinand looked suspect again, and when he did that pirouette in the box, my heart stopped, especially since United were pretty much dominant at the time. Hopefully Evans will make the step up permanantely soon. BB you are also right about Vidic, looked a bit suspect at times, in particular at the start, which he acknowledged, but didn't exactly fill the team with confidence, especially when Ferdinand is playing the way he is.
  2. Hopefully he does a job for us again on Sat. Played well against the Hunnery and I don't see any available copmetition for that spot.

  4. Too right, I was surprised to see Owen start to be honest. Especially since he didn't train yesterday, but as you said, United started to play, then I think Berba got marked out of the game in the second half. Was a highly entertaining game, end to end. Some frustrating moments such as Valencia's shots or united just lacking that final touch. But an enjoyable game and a fitting finish from Carrick. I hope he carries on playing like that and not how he started this season
  5. One of the few good reasons of not being in Scotland anymore, I don't have to listen to ShiteTV's attempt at football commentary anymore.
  6. Was going to say, Real seem on their way, Glasgowdon, you part of the consortium making all these big bets?
  7. Aye i'm not sure about 3/4 but they should get a couple in the second half. Have AC Milan started the season badly? The way itv said it sounded like they'd lost a fair few.
  8. AC Milan currently losing at home to FC Zurich
  9. Alas, despite how true this article is, it will not even be a blip on the SFA's gaydar.
  10. Anyone pick a copy up? If so, what does it say?
  11. According to today's EE: Fingers crossed!
  12. Watched that the other night as well. It was a very fitting tribute! Lots of laughs.
  13. Subway loyal started leaving yet? 4-0
  14. Huns I hear the guy that scored was the guy who should have been sent off for their stonewaller :D :D BB what did cuntybaws do?
  15. Apparently out for up to 6 weeks Not good news really! Although Fozzy played well at CB, I don't really see what other choices we have. With my comment I meant more the team that played the majority of the game.
  16. 227 hours since we last scored a league goal?
  17. Scousers down to Fiorentina Good finish.
  18. I would agree with that. He's been pretty poor for more than just this season, I felt his form started to fall off towards the end of last season as well. Apart from the goal against Celtic, he did very little in that particular game.
  19. Its cos we're JIGers and MMGers...
  20. I hope so, but to be fair to JC he actually did blood Pawlett and Paton and said they were very much the future of the club. I did not however expect to see Fyvie playing this season and has been great to see! Re: your last sentence though, the players looked like they were wondering that very thing for most of these games. Saturday was probably the first time they looked like they knew what they were doing (as McGhee said himself, a settled formation). Its taken time, but hopefully things will continue to improve, I'm just not jumping around for joy for five consecutive clean sheets. But as Ajja says, hopefully that will breed confidence throughout the team and we build from the back.
  21. Big time. Would be a big bonus if he was back and fit to face both of them.
  22. City currently 3-1 up against West Ham, Tevez with a double.
  23. I doubt McGhee would do that to be honest. I'm sure it would be part of the agreement that he stays the duration that Nigeria actually participate. Will Mcghee not start with the same team that played der Hun? Just for consistency's sake and the fact that they didn't play that badly?
  24. Did I say I wasn't happy with it? It is good, but i'm not jumping about over it. It still worries me like hell our strikers still can't score, and we don't exactly have many efforts on goal every game do we? Its a good start, and i'm happy with it, I just don't like how it is being portrayed by the club/papers that they have answered the critics, that will happen next saturday against Killie. That is a the real test. The Ibrox result was great, but there's no use turning up against the hoardes of darkness and failing to against Killie.
  25. Whats your point mini? Yes its a good start to have 5 clean sheets in a row, it doesn't hide the fact that we still do not look like we can score goals. Near enough everyone on here accepted Europe papered over the cracks under Jimmy. No-one is or should be getting excited about 1 point from Stybrox or 5 clean sheets. Its what follows is what more important, against teams like Killie etc...we need wins.
