  1. Well, its obvious isn't it, its natural for a human (I know he's a hun from Dundee so I use the term very loosely) to want to aspire to greater things and better oneself
  2. Bizarrely enough, we were chatting about him on Saturday night! Apparently feared going out in Aberdeen? Like anyone would recognise the guy anyway!
  3. Aye GS, was going to mention that one myself. Certainly sounds like a very shrewd move by the club if it is successful. Its certainly not an issue for me to have to leave the bar to get into the ground.
  4. Personally, I think the infirm leaving would be terrible for Scottish football. Even more kids will end up supporting the huns and tims purely because they would be playing in a "bigger league" so to speak. The Scottish game would then be quite umarketable, or would rather attract very little TV money. I know baggy says that there will be increased competition etc...but the reason why the SPL gets any substantial investment at the moment is because companies like ESPN want to see the Huns/Tims play. This also does not mean that because they leave, the football would be any better/more attractive. A lot of folk (not on here) were claiming that it wouldn't end up like the Welsh and Irish leagues, because football is Scotland's national sport. I don't see why it wouldn't to be honest, what incentive would there be for a decent player outside of Scotland to come and play in our league? I know its a rather bleak outlook on things, but I can't see it being any other way. The sooner the infirm realize that they need us as much as we need them, the better things will be in the Scottish game. I think this is what McGhee is pointing out.
  5. Tattie bowl goals for me. Just to GIRFU those tim cunts for a bit was special
  6. We have no scouts I still want to know what Miller is doing to earn his wage ffs...etc... All in all though, sounds like (from having a wee read of the MAD site) that it was a very frank afternoon. Shame only 20 fans turned up though
  7. Isn't Fozzy playing at CB? But yeah he was doing fine at RB. I agree, I thought thats what Big_Al was alluding more to, that he wasn't anything special when he has here, tried to get a bigger wage (fair play to him) but failed and is suffering because of it. I have very little sympathy for him and don't think he would justify a probable higher wage.
  8. Lets hope so eh McGhee! Lets face it, he can't play any worse.

  10. Always thought you were far more positive than that Dave_min! Hopefully he'll return happy that he got to represent his country in a mickey mouse tournament, and feel that he wants to impress further to ensure his selection for the Nigerian first XI.
  11. I agree with you Big_Al, he made his feelings known by choosing not to sign for us. Though it's not like we've never accepted players after they've turned us down once or twice before.
  12. Fingers crossed
  13. Top bloke, he sorted me out with my tickets for the Bayern away game as it was a last minute decision.
  14. Can't do the young guys any harm, especially their confidence.
  15. Heard it was quite the cock up from the Nigerian keeper?
  16. Aberdeen squad from the following: Nelson, Lukasik, Bain, Duff, Pawlett, Young, Fyvie, Paton, Mackie, Jack, Ross, Robertson, Megginson, Low, McRobbie, Gibson, Brown, Dunlop, Devaney, Grimmer, Masson. 7 first team players :0 I would think Duff/Young/Mackie are probably the ones there that need to impress the manager. Take it no-one from here is going?
  17. Your living room floor needs a bit of a clean there ST
  18. My thoughts exactly, I thought it was quite an insightful read.
  19. Moby - Go
  20. Interview in response to his article in the paper on Redweb: http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1818795,00.html
  21. Seems like even Miller knows he's very lucky. http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1818681,00.html
  22. We were pumped in the first, they totally eased off in the second and we still only managed to score a goal that came out of no-where. I felt humiliated. I really thought we'd miss Diamond more than we have, but its a positive sign that we have a pairing that seem to play well together and help us forget about him. I still wish him a speedy recovery.
  23. Big_Al the highlights suggested we were quite lucky to get away with a point? I thought Millers touch for the McDonald goal that was ruled offside was good as was the finish, tight call for offisde imo. Maguire was unlucky with his effort and likewise Paton.
