  1. Crikey, their wage bill must be interesting! I hope he stays, even if he is a bit limited in ability.
  2. Ok, well I'll meet you half way, accurate hoofing If his passes/hoofes are that accurate when he's with us I'll be happy.
  3. I actually meant to add that bit in as well. I completely agree with it, but I think my original point was that he appears to be able to play the game (from the footage) and wants to come to Aberdeen. As you quite rightly say, who knows how he'll perform on a cold night in Paisley. Hopefully positively. Edit: FJ, unlikely
  4. In/Out: Out Pre-match: Bed probably Match: Pub or local footie team Post-match: Home Prediction: I'll try and be positive 1-2
  5. Was thinking the same thing Remember the email address is deposedkingofnigeria@btinternet.com
  6. You make valid points Maverick, but I think you just didn't put them across very well last night due to probably being hammered I think we all agree that to be on the books of a team like Man City, you are likely to be of a higher calibre of skill than your average say Champtionship reserve team or SPL team. As you quite rightly say, if he does stay beyond the summer, it means good things for both us and the club. But the point still stands, he didn't just hoof it, he picked a pass. There is a difference between hoofing a ball randomly (which a lot of our players do) and playing a ball into space which he did a number of times. I hope that clears it up for you
  7. I still hope it doesn't happen though!
  8. Just curious. Does Miller's ban take into account games that get postponed? Or does it just carry over until the team actually plays?
  9. no BB you're right he hadn't started in the league (prior to the christmas fixtures), but played in their last champs league game. When i went to the carling cup game against arsenal, he looked decent enough. But that was only one game and i don't like watching the bin dippers as it is. I was more raging because it fucked my fantasy football team i thought torres was supposed to go under the knife?
  10. Totally. No doubting his ability and if he stayed fit he would be a huge asset to whoever he signed for. Personally i hope its Shite because i'd hate to see him come up against us.
  11. Who knew BB could cause such a stir I think he picks a pass and makes it. Not only that it is successful. I don't think anyone is thinking he'll be our saviour, just a decent addition to our depleted squad. We can't afford to buy him so a loan signing is the way we have to go. Hopefully he'll be a success. The fact he wants to come here speaks volumes to me.
  12. I was gonna say, I thought it was music dave_min would like Looks like a decent enough player!
  13. I've not been to Aberdeen for a while I would have thought though, since the city gets snow on an yearly basis, that it should be prepared?
  14. You forget, we all know someone who works for BK and we give him plenty of abuse Seriously though, can't say I give any staff abuse unless they've been rude to me. Eye for an eye, if you give abuse you deserve to get it back at you.
  15. Eh?!?! I thought the guy signed for some random team? Has MacLean shown any intesrest that he would sign for us? I'm a bit wary of the club chasing a guy if he hasn't given any indication that he would like to play for the club?
  16. Excuse my ignorance, but why couldn't they grit the paths surrounding the stadium in advance?
  17. I was disappointed. I actually wanted hibs to beat them because i want the old firm to lose as much and as often as possible. I've pretty much writen off our season because we just seem even more inconsistent than ever! So if a team can get amongst them i'm all for it. As long as we do the business ourselves of course...
  18. No i agree funster but it was more of a general comment over the whole of 2009 rather than specifically this season. But i think the point still stands as no-one is really beating them this season. It goes a long way into securing success however diabolical the football is. As you say though, it is an example of how Shite the spl is.
  19. What depresses me most was that we seem to have been the catalyst for the upturn in their fortunes whereas we've been gash since. Its crazy for such a Shite team that they've managed to remain undefeated for large periods of the season. Sign of champions i guess
  20. From BBC Gossip: Hearts are giving a trial to out-of-favour Plymouth Argyle striker Steven MacLean, who is also interesting Aberdeen. (Daily Express)
  21. True, either way at the moment we're in a crap position. Really need our team to buck up its idea's in the new year. Its an incredibly tight league this year.
  22. Tims, Jambo's and Motherwell all up. Really don't need Motherwell to win today (Jambo's as well obviously). Due to our own incompetence, much like last season and many others before it, we're making things difficult for ourselves.
  23. I got it on my mobile this morning! First time its happened on that!
  24. Yeah kow royle family was disappointing and i was quite disappointed ralph little was in it for a brief cameo. Gavin and stacey was pretty good. I saw it was the same wifey that took the pope down as the failed attempt last year.
  25. I can't recall if its every 2nd post, but it happens daily anyway!
