  1. I know he got it at Manchester United when he came close to losing his job.
  2. Such strong language for a lady!
  3. Totally agree. I've been really disappointed with him, seems to have completely lost interest after looking quite promising when he first signed.

    Summer

Get a japanese rail pass which allows you to use all forms of rail transport. http://www.japanrailpass.net/eng/en001.html There are some private lines which aren't included, but on the main routes, its valid. I think it explains it all onthe website Plenty of awesome Shrines (the golden pavilion/Kinkakuji to name one) in Kyoto as well. I'm going for 2 weeks in August/September to see family, I can't wait. Its been ages since I've been. Also, going up to the top of Kyoto train station, you get a cracking view across the city, obviously not as good as from the tower, but still, its free.
  5. This page is littered with them!
  6. Was a wee bit drunk last night and actually meant gold But aye, it was a good team performance yesterday. I just don't really want the team to be relying on the likes of Scholes, as he is obviously not the future. But if he is playing the way he is, who can really argue? I was just praying that Chelsea would have a slip up today, shame.
  7. Hignett - Heikkinen - Jess - Glass.
  8. I disagree Jager. I think we need to be behind the manager. Ride it out, we don't want a revolving door of managers again. The club fucked up in their appointment (on the evidence of the season so far), and the club fucked up on handing JC a long contract. But we have to accept the situation, as we cannot afford to and nor in the position to make the drastic changes necessary, which in my opinion would be a complete shake up at boardroom level. The club needs some fresh thinkers, but I don't know where they are going to come from as it appears to be a bit of an "old boys club" atmosphere at Pittodrie. We just need to sit tight, get behind the team (easier said than done I know) and just assess the situation/damage in the summer. As for the reports about the game, I can't believe people were actually chanting JC's name, ridiculous and I'm hugely disappointed to hear about people turning on others for coming from elsewhere. Truly pathetic. The support amazes me at times but having been witness to it before, not surprised at all.
  9. I was talking to Sharpie about this last night, and you do wonder why the hell we have to pay the guy so much. I thought he made a decent start, but seems to have gone down hill big time. I suppose it explains why he wasn't our first choice transfer. I actually think Kerr losing the captaincy would be good for all parties concerned. It's clear that he hasn't the heart or bottle to be captain. From having a decent season last season, he has gone to shite. Burden of expectation too much for him? Big Zander for captain please.
  10. Some joy to bring you Bb, united won 5-0. Carrick is back playing well and rooney shows no signs of dying just yet! I think Chelsea think its going to be easier than it actually is! Btw, whats the chant...green and yellow?
  11. Ha ha Bb he really has pissed you off today eh!
  12. No offence fj, but i agree with Bb, just becomes a bit tiresome. If true, its a shame that some of the support chose to be so moronic. I mean, what do they feel they are going to achieve by doing so? We all know that things aren't going the way we want them to, but chanting the name of an ex manager? Ffs. Whats the point. It undermines the whole club.
  13. I have the fear about this result. It has a worrying air of inevitability about it. I hope I'm wrong and the guys put in a great performance and we progress into the next round. I still wish I was going though. COME ON YOU REDS! :ultras:
  14. I thought that was what you were alluding too, and I agree. But then we get into the territory of not being able to attract a buyer. To be honest, if WM survives this, it merely emphasises the problems at the club.
  15. Totally agree, however, with the past few days/weeks events, I have wondered whether or not WM position has become untenable. And I believe it has. Regardless of what he has done for the club, if he starts to cost the club money, he has to go. Simple as that.
  16. Shame you don't have a wife eh. Damn those bloody blacks.
  17. Seriously, internet forums, surely there're bigger cunts to fry? I mean, honestly, who gives a flying fuck?!?
  18. Defoe just gave Spurs the lead again. Great ball in by Bentley.
  19. Fantastic post Baggy We told you so
  20. I'd go to Rockness for Leftfield and Boys Noize alone, but I'm hoping that one or both will play Exit this summer. That or LCD Soundsystem!
  21. Telegraph down here says we got 500k for him, and my eyes still can't believe it
  22. Fantastic bit of business by AFC. Who knew we would get money for the lazy sod! YASSSS. Welcome aboard MacLean!
  23. Money for miller? Please let this be true! Boro' for league one?
  24. I personally don't find the sneck pleasing on the eye. Glasgow is a different class in comparison. Whilst some of the modern architecture is somewhat to be desired for, the urban regeneration that has been undertaken in glasgow over the years is starting to bare fruit. Then if you like aesthetically pleasing areas, you'll struggle find a nicer place than the university and kelvingrove park area. Tho quite what they're going to be doing on the clyde is beyond me. Hopefully the recession has put that to bed.
  25. The way our season is going i fully expect us to get pumped midweek, then beat the timothy and the cycle will start all over again. A 'run' of two games :/
