  1. It wasn't aimed at you, I was just agreeing with Tyrant. He looked very poor last season after looking decent enough at the start. Hopefully he can recapture the form he's had at previous clubs this season.
  2. He wasn't bad, still had a few very scary moments (losing the ball in the box) but seemed no nonsense enough to me. He wasn't the worst player on the park by a long way!
  3. Aye, if I recall, a few of us thought he was the next Barry Nich Oh how we were wrong.
  4. It amused the hell out of me. Sitting on the Golf Open stands I enjoyed the bar though
  5. Were you at the game as well? How uninterested did Aluko look when getting photos taken! Think the highlight of the day was "I'd rather shag a sheep than a man".
  6. 2-4-4 is a winning formation.
  7. Too true though Hopefully he'll be his usual anonymous self.
  8. Good news about Basey. We actually have a left back now so this is positive news. Nice to see positive comments on the P&J page.....Not that I don't disagree with the statements, more that it seems a bit inappropriate.
  9. My thoughts exactly!
  10. Where to start tlg! For the reasons you've mentioned and the fact they have no fans and its a shite away day.
  11. It said no
  12. If i'm not mistaken I think he was playing on the right and seemed to do well, but that may need some clarification lol
  13. Optimistic no, looking forward to it, I guess so. Living in London, I don't get to see the Dons very often, so Saturday was the first time in ages i'd managed to get to a game. I too, shared your optimism, but we played exactly the same as we did last season. I guess it was a reality check, but i'm neither optimistic or pessimistic about the season ahead. There are promising signs, we just have to hope it all clicks together.
  14. This very thought has worried me too.
  15. I think he mentioned last week that he was the only definite striker. Which, I did find bizarre. Also meant to add we did look much better (creativity wise) when Pawlett and I think Paton came on. Just that bit sharper, but the damage had already been done. Our solitary shot on target came I think in the last minute of normal time. Can't say I noticed collins that much, but as I said, it could be said for most of our team on Saturday. Didn't get the opportunity to play.
  16. Seve was also at the game, we had a quick word with him (and Aluko who came to say hi to him) and asked what his aspirations were for the season with Watford "I don't think we'll avoid relgation this season". Nice.
  17. I'm hoping killie, but for some annoying reason, they always seem to pull it out of the bag
  18. We're lucky not to be humped. We've not created anything. Looked reasonably solid in the first, but been overrun in the second.
  19. 1-0 brighton. We're pish. Not had a shot on target yet.
  20. Fair few spurs boys here.
  21. TC will be giving updates during the game, he's the only one with an i phone. Apparently its already kicked off in town.
  22. Potentially, the better player. I think him going out on loan might do him the world of good.
  23. True enough, but whether through choice or not, it seemed at times last season, McGhee would play players out of principle. I can't see one of his purchases being shipped out purely on that fact alone. Just my observations mind. Also, I know I'm probably over thinking this, but who knows how the team may improve purely by having a person who knows how to win and talk players through games. I'm not expecting miracles, but Kerr knew fuck all about football or being a captain. We may just see a difference in the team :hereshopingsmilie:
  24. Thats the long and short end of it sadly.
  25. David James moves to Bristol City http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bristol_city/8866521.stm Quite surprised by that. Quite a coup for City. Unlucky Septic Mark hughes is Fulham's new manager. Think that is a more than decent appointment. Hopefully he can build on Roy's success and ensure they retain a few of their key players from last season.
