  1. You'll hurt kows feelings with that! I meant to add that, good luck sone, I've enjoyed the past 4 years, its a shame for one reason or another he wasn't able to perform his best most weeks, but the occassions I've seen him since CB took over, he's been the most impressive player on the park. Thank you sone.
  2. Agreed but there must be a conspiracy in there somewhere!
  3. Lol, likewise, I didn't feel comfortable looking at other sites. Just wasn't the same Well done mods!
  4. Agreed, I thought both were a disgrace to the game over the how ever many el "classico's" there have been the past few weeks. will be interesting to see who faces them in the final. United hae decisions to make whether to field a team strong enough for tonight and sunday.
  5. Was surprised to read this this morning. I thought he'd been playing much better since CB had come in and actually seemed to be enjoying himself again. Guess that shows what I know though! I know from reading the other boards that there seems to be a general feeling that we won't miss him. But I think they are completely deluded if they think we're going to get anyone as remotely entertaining. I know we'd all like to see players who will graft and graft, but invariably they are not going to be flair players.
  6. When compared to the OF, then yes, by the skin of their teeth
  7. FJ's favourite word again: I have to say though, sounds like they are aware of the task ahead, but again, the proof is in the pudding. At least Brown has set deadlines for the these players and would seem like he will stick by them.
  8. To be fair, the comments made after the game are fucking dodgy! "on another day" they'd have got a yellow card?!? This is why our game is shite. One rule for the inbred hordes, and another for the real people.
  9. I thought Nani was pretty anonymous today. Valencia came on and started bringing the game to them and getting behind Clichy and knocking in some decent crosses. United do need some form of midfield general though, I thought Arsenal pretty much played right through Anderson, Park and Carrick. And considering your point that Giggs and Scholes are obviously getting on a bit, Fletcher cannot be the only one to organise that midfield.
  10. Quite a poor game tbh, though I'd say Arsenal deserve their lead so far. Unfortunate not to get a penalty in the first half, and I do think the match officials are having a bit of dodgy game. Vidic quite clearly touched the ball, but hey ho
  11. Scousers currently pumping newcastle 3-0. Could have done with Miereles scoring as he's my FF captain. Couldn't afford Kuyt Tims 1 up against United. Big game between Arsenal and Man United today. Anything other than a win will give Chelsea hope that they can have a chance at the title.
  12. Agreed, he has the right amount of professionalism and dedication, he just isn't good enough. Nice gesture by the club and I wish him success in his future career.
  13. Sounded like a decent finish by Pawlett. Good on the guy, I hope his injury problems are behind him now
  14. Sounds like a pretty mundane first half, with Diamond being standardly useless in front of both goals and Paton missing the best chance of the game. No telling what sort of crowd there is today.
  15. R.I.P in peace.
  16. I see two of the players that are leaving Caley this summer are not in their starting line ups, but to be fair, it doesn't look like we have much option 8 of that 11 could potentially be elsewhere next season as well.
  17. Well being pumped 4-0 now! It was interesting to read that since Brown and Knox arrived at Aberdeen, they have taken the same amount of points as McCall has at motherwell. Just a shame there have been a few pumpings by Celtic in between those
  18. Real - Barca eat your heart out. At least these guys had reason to be on the floor
  19. To be honest, I think it's best for all parties if he retired. He's honest and professional enough to admit he can't hack it anymore. I would love him to be retained as a coach though, would certainly do no harm to some of the younger lads coming through. It's a shame we didn't get him sooner, but then again, Hartley at his prime would not be at AFC.
  20. Can't see us winning this one. Can see diamond being as useless as last week.
  21. Pretty much my reading of the situation. Sad times really!
  22. To be honest, I couldn't care less if he was a good guy. I think he knew he was punching above his weight. Thanks, but you should have been gone a long time ago!
  23. Haha, shocking isn't it Look forward to catching up in a couple of weeks!
