  1. Apparently it hit a tram line and that's why it fell. Its been quite an exciting eredivisie this season. Nice finale.
  2. Watched the street that cut everything. Quite a bizarre concept of a programme and I'm not sure what it wanted to achieve. Seemed like it was trying to tell us councils provide a service for very little and make tough decisions.
  3. On BBC saying its likely. Good luck to the guy and look forward to coming up against Alloa next season
  4. From what I've seen of cerny id happily see him at Aberdeen, and as has been said, we need a winger, centre half or two and a couple of full backs. Thank fuck the season is over!
  5. My thoughts exactly. There is very little doubt in my mind that he will leave on a free. I'll happily be wrong, but the guy / ned has shown very little professionalism or respect.
  6. Seems like the club are being sensible and too right. Sign the three year deal ya fud and listen to what you're being told. If you felt any appreciation for the club that made you, you would want them to get the best deal.
  7. He knows exactly what he's saying. These are the wisest words you'll ever be told Stewart Milne, listen the fuck up!
  8. Thank fuck that this season is over. Was there a decent crowd today?
  9. I actually think this is bad for us. A two year deal does nothing and means we'll probably never get anywhere near the compensation money if he moved on now. Tie him up for longer or get rid.
  10. I could have told him that that was crock of shite. Absolute mugs for passing up on that.
  11. Amen to that!
  12. Quite ambivalent to this news. Odd time of contract and agree, hopefully its an indicatror as to the quality of keeper he's bringing in. Funster, is howards contract not up anyway?
  13. One of the best albums ever.
  14. We could do worse, howcome they released him ?
  15. exactly, he still had it when he went down to Bristol City.
  16. Milsom for me, first to sign, has shown commitment and I don't read any silly stories about him in the press.
  17. A true professional to the core. I was glad we had you for a year Hartley, hopefully some of your good work ethic has rubbed off onto the youngsters. But as others have said, the right time and it takes a man to admit it.
  18. Just watched the first episode of the apprentice. The right person got voted off, someone you could tell from the adverts that they were a cunt.
  19. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8069686.stm
  20. At least he'll be able to keep his evening job
  21. Whilst I don't disagree with anything you've said there, I personally am finding it quite difficult getting positive about next season. Obviously, I hope this changes, because this has been a complete abortion of a season on and off the pitch. Arguably the only things the club got right was the sacking off Magoo/appointment of a manager and the signings of Vernon, Hartely, Folly and Milsom. Thats not been a lot to shout about, and my concerns are that the board do not care/or are aware of the work involved in actually overhauling our team. I've emailed the club about this and they insist they are aware of the task ahead, but i remain sceptical. We cannot rely on youth in all departments, and need experience in crucial areas to develop these players. Whilst the stadium and facilities are all well and good, there is no point in having some of the best facilities if we are in division 1. There are so many short term problems, which haven't been addressed, they're now long term ones. This could be one of the most important summers AFC has seen in a long time, it has to prove something to the fans before the fans show their side of the bargain that they have been holding since Milne took over. As I said, I hope they get this right, and i'm sure my optimism will return over the course of the summer. But good riddance to a horrific season! Stand Free.
  22. I'd rather keep aluko.
  23. Some might say transition Not really sure what to make of the comments, seems like he's a decent player and good to have around the place...
  24. We've been in decline since Milne took over, as highlighted in the other thread, but I'd argue that there's no point in him talking about it, it's in the past. Because he is wrong and part of the clubs demise. We were in decline during JC's reign, due to the boards lack of investment.
