Only managed to get RedTV working towards the end of the second half, when Stewart, or whoever it was at the front post, should have scored. Sounds like it's been pretty turgid then?

No nonsense and get the job done. That's all that matters.
-
Some pretty damning stats there
-
Red shed looked and sounded great too. Hopefully it becomes a mainstay at the club.

Rare to come up against a team we’ve not played against domestically, but here we are. Will make for a fun away day for those able to make it, shame it’s midweek. Their results have been mixed since knocking st Johnstone out of the cup, but they’ve also shown some metal to win another penalty shoot out. We really should be winning this comfortably, but I guess it’ll depend on their pitch etc. same team as the other games should be fine, but think we’ll need to rotate the squad to keep them fresh.

Hadn’t read this thread before the match thread. But if that’s the case definitely should be moving these guys on quick fast. Agree about the defence, there was a good 10 min spell in the first where they were making poor decisions that ultimately on another day would have been punished.

Watching the game back now, livi had our number up until the red, which as Rico says , was the right call and great persistence from Besuijen. He played really well today, unsure if it was a motm performance but probably fair. Thought Roos commanded his box well today too. Concerning we don’t seem to be able to play against 11 yet, but hopefully it’s a case of building confidence. We were pretty brutal up until the red. but hey ho, 3 points, 5 goals and hopefully that pen gives Besuijen the confidence to kick on. Was a good complete performance. out of interest, where was Ramirez today?!?

Not what I said, but he’s not good enough for us
-
I think one thing that I picked up from this game, was that Consi has lost another yard of pace and it was probably the right reason to let him go. He was very lucky to stay on the pitch but I get that he was probably quite emotional and wanted to prove a point. Obviously wish him every success in the non dons games, but I'd hope he doesn't need to resort to that sort of tackling in future fixtures.
-
Expecting big things from him this season, but he just doesn’t seem to be doing it. Is it a case of us not deploying him correctly to get the best of him or is he a bit average? He’s clearly got the skills in his locker but we don’t seem to see it often enough. Thoughts?

Haven’t seen anything of livi this season, but they’ve had what appeared to be decent results against hibs and United earlier in the month. Also lost to Motherwell in the weekend so im hoping we stick with mccrorie in mid, it’s clearly his best position and we need to get someone else in to cover CB. I see Shaughnessy has left saints so guess that may be a possibility, albeit a bit uninspiring. Felt we looked good last weekend and that a goal was always coming. Hopefully miovski finds his scoring boots again. Any news on ticket sales yet? bed bed bed 2-1, miovski and Vinny

In no way advocating what they've done, but I've been with people who have had seats fall apart on them, but i've also seen some break them. My first reaction to seeing this was however, oh god, why?
-
He was definitely what I was alluding to re: mistakes in the team. We were very lucky to not have been punished for his mistake.
-
Thought we did really well today. disappointing and unlucky not to get at least one other. The first miovski chance is a tough one as you can’t quite see due to the camera angle, but we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The goal was worthy to win any game. Superb hit. Ross Mccrorie was on fire, covered an unbelievable amount of ground. As others have said, there are still many flaws, but that was an infinitely better performance compared to last week. It’s only st Johnstone but hopefully the defence take a lot of confidence from that. Much better.
-
Its pretty impressive that he’s managed to make such a fuck up of that team tbh. They’re not bad. Aussie keeper is actually decent so I’m also surprised to see him performing so badly. Still. It’s funny as fuck as long as they retain this form against us
-
Watched Belfast tonight. Cheesier than I thought it’d be and maybe less of the troubles than I thought too. Decent enough watch but was glad it was on a streaming app. Not sure id have paid for it in the cinema. Being in b/w was a nice touch though.
-
Fair play to them, 2-1 away in Europe isn’t a bad result. Reckon they could sneak it.
-
Has there been any further rumours re: CB? Surely we’re not going to end up with bates remaining. Would then need to do some transitioning him back into team as I doubt we can afford to have him not even being involved in the match day squad.
-
Can’t remember who it was, but they said we’re going to be in for roller coaster of a start and we need to be patient. There has been such a huge change to the team we need to accept that it may take a few weeks to get right. I’m firmly in this camp but I know it’s easier said than done. although we couldn’t have asked for a kinder start tbh. Celtic aside. Hopefully he gets his subs correct too.

First fixture between us and consi on Scottish soil, post divorce. We really neee to be getting three points here but have no idea if we’ll get our shit together in time for it. They’ve had as mixed of a start to the season as we have, 2 losses and a win. Although they even managed to beat Motherwell. So it’ll probably end up as a draw but probably not your stale 0-0 or 1-1, as we can score but can’t defend. really need to sort our defence out and get mccrorie playing where he needs to. Can’t see Roos being dropped. out bed bed bed 2-1, miovski and Stewart

Haven't put myself through the highlights yet, but what is the general consensus with how JG will deal with the Roos / Lewis conundrum? I can't seem him dropping him, given I think it was Rico who said it, he's his man. Still feel it's a tad harsh on Lewis to be dropped without a sniff of having a decent, consistent back line in front of him. I still think Lewis has plenty to give and tarnishing him with Glass isn't fair on him either. Was Roos at fault on the weekend?
-
Surprising for him, but it’s fairly standard for players to join NPL teams outside of the a league window. Cumdog had a stormer of a season last season so I’d imagine he’s pushing him.

I mentioned to jute (pre season) about me getting a ticket for hearts away in Jan , ahead of all the glory hunters jumping on our inevitable victorious league campaign . Just saying I got in early
