  1. Anyone who plays zero strikers, especially in a must win game is a prick in my eyes. The same statement applies to someone who picks and fields a third division scumbag.
  2. Have no idea why you would waste it on this joke of a "manager"!
  3. Highlights are on RedTV Czech
  4. My concern is that now the season has started, the momentum will be lost and the issue will be swiftly swept under the carpet. I hope i'm just being overly cynical, but i feel that we won't see much if anything until next season as they will claim to be "reviewing" everything this season.
  5. I've always thought this, but he has no end product whatsoever. I am still genuinely disappointed that he was retained at AFC. If we're relying on him to get goals, we may as well give up and watch table tennis. I really hope Brown sees this and addresses this situation. He's got the first bit right about signing a player that can create, now he needs to address the bit that we were (are) monumentally shite at. Scoring.
  6. The Bars? The Maccy D's towards north Park (by the copper box and hockey arena) was the biggest one. It was the same price as normal ones though they allowed you to have smoothies and juices with your big mac meal rather than just fizzy drinks. Is that normal? The pub situation at lords is pretty poor too. Not many boozers in the area.
  7. I would have thought this only strengthens the case for Brown to sign a striker. I fully expected to see a few more loan signings (i'm not discrediting the club for who they've brought in so far).
  8. Really? I only paid £4.60 for a pint of Heineken. I fully expected it to be a lot more, especially since the bottles they were selling were going for £4.30 Apart from Maccy D's, I never managed to get any other food because the queues were too long
  9. I would have thought that this is only a small portion of their debt? don't they owe a few millions to teams abroad?
  10. I agree with BTR, I do not think it's acceptable failing to score at home. It was yet another huge opportunity missed in terms of trying to woo potential fans back. I'm not panicking yet, but the longer we go not scoring, the worse our confidence in front of goal will be (case in point, last season). CB potentially has a team worth watching, I just wish he'd let them go and also sign a striker. The positive was that the defence seem to be solid, which is always a good foundation to start with.
  11. id imagine much like itvs ratings over the past two weeks, the ratings have plummeted. Also, I hope Dixon is just moonlighting. I don't want him tarnished by the idiocy of ITV.
  12. Robin van Persie is a man united player according to some agent on twitter.
  13. Was mcginn being played as a striker? I still think that this really is something brown needs to address.
  14. Any news from the game at all Wasn't able to listen or watch it. Was mcginn injured?
  15. How's everyone think we'll line up? Id go for: Brown Osbourne Anderson Considine Naysmith Hayes Rae Jack Milsom McGinn Vernon
  16. Very good to see, COYR!
  17. Ooft, what a run by the American women in the 4x100 relay. And what a fuck up by team GB in the mens relay. What was that, the 6th consecutive event since 2008?!?!
  18. No wonder it took him that long to find a job
  19. Good on him for not signing for the huns, and good on St. Johnstone, decent signing.
  20. In/Oot: Out Prematcher: Family Match: Probably on here Postmatcher: Family Prediction: Narrow victory
  21. Because that's going to happen. We're going to be stuck the prick langfield for this season.
  22. Well done AFC. As CtS says, solid signing
  23. How good is that train?!? Have to say I was impressed with it and meant I avoided the general hell of the Central Line
