Typical Feyenoord pricks.

Its a tough one that, Smith might be a bit lightweight but that might be ok against a team like St.Mirren. I'd hope we won't be starting Robson as his legs have clearly gone and slows play down too much. Maybe go with Smith as he's probably a bit more suited to the roll. Flood, his form seems a bit indifferent at the mo so i'd probably prefer to see him coming off the bench. Will be interesting to see what McLean can do against his old team mates.

This works in our favour. 3-3 draw means they will go for it in the second leg!
-
From what I've read it's all been very positive towards him and had the backing of a lot of the old football stars (Cruijff especially). He definitely says all the right things but does come across as a bit arrogant at times. But i suppose in a world like FIFA you would probably have to be. They blame Blatter for the bad image FIFA has so I'd probably vote for him if I could.

So with the presidency looming, who can you see winning it? Surely Sepp Blatter will finally be rid of and die a sad, cold and lonely death in a cave in switzerland? Anyway, candidates are: Figo -Note sure how much I agree with Figos proposals for the world cup. It should get smaller if anything. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31531664 Cunt - corruption, blackmail and brown envelopes Van Praag - Up until Figo's announcement, was clear UEFA option ad it's rumoured that should the cunt win there might be a split away from FIFA. Prince Ali of Jordon - most probable winner if it isn't the cunt. Not sure if this is much of an improvement and pretty much be much of the same i'd imagine. How he gains the support of the corrupt federations in Africa (Blatter strongholds) will be interesting. http://www.aljazeera.com/blogs/sport/2015/02/internal-affair-fifas-presidential-candidates-150219123242831.html I'd love there to be greater reform in the governing bodies (see the SFA for instance on a micro level) but i'm not holding my breath on it. I do know there is also Ginola and Champagne, but these aren't real credible candidates. Can't see either making much progress. Summary of all the candidates: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/fifa-presidential-election-find-out-5059279

As you said tlg, this has banana skin all over it, although I think that might be doing a disservice to the team. Another crucial game and hopefully they'll soak up the loss of Hayes and grind out a result. I know they've been saying it, but they really cannot look further than the next game. Out Breakfast courtesy of the lady Boozy birthday lunch Party 2-0, Rooney and Daniels

Had a feeling that might be the case after they said he'd miss the smurn game yesterday. Far from ideal, but hopefully that's all it is! Good news about Taylor and Low though.
-
Ha ha, i'm sure he already has a morning jobbie
-
I told TC it was the job for him
-
Agreed, it's all a bit cringe worthy and giving glasgow the ammunition it needs! As a side issue, Hayes is out for the St. Mirren clash, club are hoping he won't be out for longer. Really need him back as soon as, been one of the best players this season.

Disgraceful behaviour. The only Chelsea fan I know told me it was ficticious

Not the EPL but obviously a team that up until recently was in it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-31504347 Hope it works out for the fans.

It was a shocking, shocking dive. How they could defend him was beyond me. He could have easily stayed on his feet and was hardly a reckless slide from the GK. Even that annoying sally from BBC Breakfast refused to get drawn into it. Man united's actually play has been pretty shocking and i think this is why he's been put under pressure. It all seems far too fragile to me. Something which I've never known a united side to look.

Limped off injured, suspected hamstring injury. He was going for a scan yesterday.

Any news on Hayes?

Completely. Just watching the game back now (missed it during the day) and the officials definitely had something against Rooney today. Firstly the first disallowed goal, and if that's not a penalty I don't know what is. Absolute shocker (as per) from Gollum. We've looked good, but Scott Brown worries me. Definitely no better than Clangfield, and seems to be rooted to his line a lot of the time. I saw Logan having a proper go at him just before 1/2 time and there was a ball that came across the face of goal which i think he should have intercepted / collected. Of the new signings, Daniels, what a tidy player. You can tell he's a class act and very composed on the ball. McLean likes to have a pop at goal which I don't mind at all. Certainly my biggest criticism of the season so far was that the midfielders wouldn't have a go. He does and invariably draws a save from the keeper. All in all though, a very good team performance. Need to keep it going. Edit: Also, the 3rd goal ruled out was definitely a goal. The Consi one I can understand as he was all over the defender, but that 3rd one? Fucking hell. Still not as bad as the first "third" goal. Gollum is a penis.

Excellent result, in previous years we definitely would have bottled it. Nice to see different goal scorers on the sheet as well!
-
Timothy won 2-1 at St. Johnstone today, could have done with them dropping points.
-
I see Gary Teale has sour grapes about McLean joining us. Nice rebuttal from TD though, says he's very much in the Ryan Jack frame of mind and clearly has a plan.

Was surprised by that myself! I think he'll do quite well at Hibs. Going by the highlights, it looked like the huns weren't that bad and actually unlucky not to have a penalty -
I see this morning that the Spanish La Liga president is worried about losing the stars to the EPL in the very near future due to the financial muscle the teams will have over the Spanish. I think you make a very good point and something i've spoken to a few people about. Truly world class players very rarely go to or stay in the EPL. I mean, most recently you can look at Suarez (who I love to hate), arguably a world class striker and manufactured his move away to Spain. I'd probably only put, Aguero, Silva, Sanchez, De Gea and possibly Yaya Toure in the world class bracket. And yet none of them would compare to those who graced the list you made. How Sky / BT can justify paying so much is beyond me, because the product is not always going to be like your Liverpool - Spurs game which they so love to quote. Will seriously consider dropping my SS package, primarily because I get BT sport free anyway and their Scottish football coverage and even EPL coverage is vastly superior to the "theatre" of SS. Annoyingly, I can't get Virgin in my area.

Sounds promising
