It was strange how Thomas' introduction seemed to change everything. We lost our shape and intensity after he came on but we were incredibly wasteful again today. Should have sealed the result after the first 15 mins alone. Very fortunate with the sending off and penalty but i'll take that! That all said, 2-0 away from home, I am ecstatic with that! Top of the league at least for 2 weeks and 7 games without conceding. COYR! Some brilliant football was played at times today. Keep it up!

It's a reasonably strong bench

Snap, please let us not fuck this up!

Went to millwall - bradford in the fa cup today. Millwall are a complete shambles of a club for away fans. Was PATG but yeah they didn't accept cash at the turnstiles so had to buy a ticket before being let through the turnstiles. Ended up having to go to the home end to buy an away stand ticket. Just made it in in time for the first bradford goal. Bradford played some great football and rory was still pretty commanding. Millwall fan base is also pathetic. Full of 10 year olds that try and give it all that when the equalise against a team in a league lower than them. In summary, millwall are cunts and bradford are good value. I hope they make the play offs this season.

Shame for Gerrard, fantastic player in his prime but it's become very clear that he can no longer cut it. Other news: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30662865

Not sure much needs to be said about our current situation, it's fan-fucking-tastic! Though this will be a tough test with Motherwell playing on the back back of an absolute mauling from the Accies. Their form wasn't too bad under their new manager so it'll be interesting to see how we fair. With the timmies taking a small winter break after their Killie game, it's important we keep up the pressure and momentum! Dundee hate playing the Arabs. Currently 5-1 down going on 10. Making them look like Barcelona.

Anyone know of a possible stream for this? Unfortunately my usual point of call has been closed down as of today Tims game is off, apparently it's a conspiracy! This our time guys, let's make it happen! COYR

I don't really class those as the same and I don't think they do that on an individual case by case situation? Regardless I still stand by my point. The police can't / shouldn't spend their time molly coddling idiots, awareness and prevention is one thing but should be on a wider community basis. First point should be the parents (if possible), then the community, PCSO etc. If they started to haul people up on every single tweet which "causes offence" they would be neglecting their real duties of protecting the community and a waste of public money. Obviously if it's someone who is inciting violence / hatred or bullying, that is a completely different matter.
-
Fair points funster, I don't think we will either but i'd say Andrew almost summed it up: 1st should be our aim rather than expectation but whether we achieve that is a different matter altogether though. Regardless, this is a very positive position to be in, certainly for as long as I can remember and a very clear signal that progress has been made under DM.

And here is the reason why, there had to be one of them involved somewhere... http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/macleod-linked-to-brentford-move-to-be-coached-by-ex-gers-ace-weir.1419949546 Edit: now been confirmed with rumours of Nicky Law on his way to Huddersfield. -
Agree wholeheartedly. These are not the real criminals, just socially inept and as BB said, and lack common decency of a human being. But thats directly linked to the reality TV show society we live in. People are stupid. I try not to give people like that (whatever her name from the apprentice who's causing a storm is a prime example) the time of day. Ignore and they'll fade from whence they came.

Another massive game with ticket sales indicating a good crowd for it. Hopefully DM has instilled a bit more bottle than in previous years when the fans have been let down by a lacklustre team performance. Current form: AFC : WWWWW SFC : WWWWW Two of the form teams in the league, should make for an exciting game. Obviously from our perspective we have the chance to go top, albeit for a few hours. But it should be a statement of intent. Never an easy game against them, but hopefully with a good crowd and atmosphere, we'll get the 3 points. Let's start 2015 with a bang! In/Out: Out Prematcher: Bed Match: Flat Postmatch: Flat / Pub Prediction: 2-1, Reynolds. COYR! More of this please:

Personally, I don't think we will but annoyingly we're getting a lot of press coverage (particularly today) which has led me to get a bit excited about the thought. Below link being an example (even one in the retard - but they probably have ulterior motives) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30633030 The clubs official mantra of one game at a time is completely correct. We're only 1/2 way through the season with a lot of games yet to be played. The game against St. Johnstone is another massive game, with the prospect of our greatest attendance of the season so far. I definitely think we should be aiming for the top, this is probably the best chance we're going to have for a while. If we can maintain the consistency and get a win against those scumbags in the green, who knows?

Thank fuck for that. ED gave me a fright last night when he told me about it without mentioning him

Merry go round has begun. Irvine sacked as WB boss and Pardew off to take over at Crystal Palace.
-
Welcome aboard! Completely agree about the goal issue, but I actually think he wants to stay. There is a good vibe about the squad at the moment and only a fool/someone not involved in the squad would really leave. It's not like he isn't getting game time.

I think that toms table pretty much summarises it, its all over the place but Celtic are definitely there for the taking. Whether its us that manages to take them is another thing. I'm trying to hold back on the excitement, but it is hard to avoid. I think its brilliant that we're able to grind out results like yesterday, whether we maintain that over the season I'm not sure. A couple more injuries and things might change, but currently I am enjoying the position we're in!

Excellent news! Good work by the club. Hopefully get a couple of others signed up soon.
