Agreed, but I do think he holds the ball up reasonably well. As I said, I think he'll get additional protection now so we may see "improved" performance.

I see the Dhims have had their offer for shift key accepted. Could see him doing well there, not like he won't have the protection of the referees either...

An away draw for the first leg is no bad result, given it was our first competitive game, however I'd like to think we could turn these guys over at Pittodrie. How do we see ourselves lining up? I think Ward got a lot of stick for the previous game, but i'll reserve judgement after a few more games. What he did with that chance where Quinn bailed him out is beyond me. I agree completely, seems like a waste to put him there. We were pretty rubbish in the second, Taylor should have scored a couple and there was some calamitous defending. Can't argue about their goal, they deserved it.

Not sure this has been posted elsewhere but I see Daniels has signed a 3 year deal with Wigan. Guess West Brom weren't particularly impressed with his time with us after all - not surprised.
