  1. Well this is in today's BBC Gossip column: Doesn't sound like we're looking for a new no.1 if i'm honest.
  2. Final game of the season, Ando's final game in a Dons shirt. I hope it's a complete sell out and Rooney manages to break the record as it would be a great send off for one of the best players i've personally seen play for us. It's been a great season, probably should have delivered more but I am happy with the progress we have made. All on the proviso that this is a stepping stone for greater things next season! Looks like it's heading for a sell out anyway, and so it should be with £10 tickets!
  3. Amusing read: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/11613350/SNP-MPs-invade-Labour-benches-in-Commons.html Glad to see they are ruffling a few feathers.
  4. Robson signs a new one year deal: http://www.afc.co.uk/news/6112#.VVs8f_lVhBc
  5. That is excellent news, was really hoping that there would be a decent turn out for this just to stick two fingers up to the nae sayers. Nice touch from the players too, not often you read that, especially in Scotland.
  6. Reynolds has been called up for it. I'm surprised, genuinely think this has been his worst season with us.
  7. Apparently Robson is signing a new 1 year deal today. Nice to read that he just wants to play and isn't holding the club to ransom (not that I think he would anyway).
  8. I think acting earlier in the summer would definitely make sense. Gives the squad longer to gel and obviously gives him more time to assess the players. Can't remember if it was in this thread or another, but it was an interesting question to pose (re his success in the transfer window outwith Scotland). Really hadn't thought about it before but it's not the greatest success rate. Do we have any scouts any scouts outside of Scotland anymore?
  9. Looks like we played really well and were unfortunate to go behind. Goodwillie should have scored and Smith was unlucky. Terrible "defending" for their goal though, clearly no communication at all.
  10. Wonder if that was the last time united fans will see De Gea in goal for them. Excellent performance despite Jones' best efforts to fuck it up. A very tough act to follow if he does leave.
  11. Hopefully Hibs can save Scottish football the embarrassment of allowing this diddy team into the big leagues.
  12. Well, they've failed. Can't see the huns throwing this away.
  13. How did we play? Have to say when I saw the team line up I was slightly disappointed we didn't have more of an experimental side. Fair play to Rooney, another goal and he wasn't even starting!
  14. Didn't Daniels get injured? Thought he start well enough, would like to think we'll get someone in to replace him. I actually think Hilton is correct, certainly don't put it down to his wife being hot He looked awful when he first arrived but has steadied himself. I wouldn't say he's the first name I'd put on my team sheet, but he does a job for us and has improved infinitely from his initial form. Been better than Reynolds this season IMO.
  15. Was one of the guys I thought we should get on that list. That or get the falkirk or Hamilton keeper .
  16. I had completely forgotten about him. I guess it makes sense given that the US leagues didn't fancy him. Shame really but was a gamble worth taking.
  17. Not so much listening to but a venue I have been to many a time and very sad to see. http://news.stv.tv/west-central/1320578-the-arches-to-permanently-close-after-police-raise-fears-over-drugs/ Hopefully they get it sorted soon!
  18. Would be good to get back to winning ways. I'd like to see a few more youngsters get a chance to see what they can do given that second place is confirmed. We also have a number of players bordering suspensions for this game so would be a good opportunity to mix things up. Could see Smith line up with Robson through the middle. In/out: Out Prematcher: Flat Match: Twickenham Rugby 7's Postmatcher: Pub Prediction: 2-1 Dons, Smith and Logan
  19. To be fair, he's already said that we are in control of the situation. Regardless, he will still be with us next season as he's still under contract. Id rather he left as a winner than leave us having to look for someone suitable to replace him this season and we win nothing. EE article from yesterday:
  20. I wasn't there, but that was very much what I was referring to Jute, remember seeing it on the TV and pictures after the game. Wars don't give you an excuse to be knuckledraggers. Fuck them.
  21. Christ, he's made 75 appearances already?! I'm surprised by that. Up until the latter part of this season, I would have expected his contract to be terminated. He didn't seem to be doing anything and didn't make much of an impact when he played. However, the second part of the season I have noticed a change. Maybe due to the injury and underwhelming performances from PeePaw has spurred him on, I know I prefer to have him coming on than PeePaw at the moment. His form is a separate conversation all together. Smith is an excitable player who tries to make things happen. As Stooge says, he needs to bulk up a bit, but he adds something different when he comes on and I certainly wouldn't want him to leave any time soon. Hopefully he can kick on from the second part of this season.
  22. Two mediocre teams IMO, but as they are friendlies and probably of the calibre of opposition we will face it's probably no bad thing. More of the former than the latter imo. I'd like to hope so anyway.

  24. Two shades of the same shite as far as I'm concerned. One probably slightly more racist than the other.
