  1. Thoroughly enjoying it, you’ll smash it. Nearly done myself. The only annoyance is I’m guessing we’ll have to wait another year for the final one!
  2. Tickets for courtney Barnett in August
  3. Shame, I really wanted Motherwell to win. I know it was worse for us but Scottish football media is gonna be hell for the first few months. Gerard this and now this double treble pish. Thank fuck I’m far enough away. Let’s hope real keep their side of the deal next weekend to ensure the last team they lost to in a European final was us especially given how many bin dippers there appear to be here. Would love to see their smug faces ruined.
  4. I understood we tried to get him on a pre contract in January but it just didn’t happen. Guessing he wanted to wait until the end of the season to see where the land lay.
  5. Didn’t realise it was still an option. Surprised if we got him, financially we wouldn’t be able to compete but he’s the right caliber of player
  6. Remember seeing that in the shops DD, think there was also a dodgy named shop in one of those shopping centres in the city centre. Ah Budapest.

Brilliant film and thoroughly dark. The series wasn’t bad either. Watched American Folk tonight, well shot and a good story. Not a thought provoker but a nice watch nonetheless. Ask me food comical moments despite being part of a sad story.
  8. No way, he was shite for hibs.
  9. Darren Moore staying at west brom so that’ll end any dm speculation there for at least until October.
  10. Seems like he’s gone one further and deleted his account. Given the amount of people copied in, namely Logan and record sport I’d hope he gets brought in by the piggery.
  11. Absolutely. He was shite. He was shite at being physical because he always got carded. I mind being at ibrox last season (when we won) and him coming on as a sub. You could just tell he was going to get sent off even before he came on. That’s a pointless player to have on your books. A couple of good goals aside. He was also shite in the air and not great with his feet. Delighted he fucked off.
  12. Who wouldn’t want to go to the former petrofac cup winners?
  13. Allardyce I'll give you, but Moyes, no. You're talking about the past here. Everton and Preston were a long, long time ago. I probably should have qualified that by just saying a corrupt twat and a bang average manager when describing them both.
  14. Would love both Korea’s to turn around and tell the yanks to fuck off.
  15. I’d say McInnes is above average for the spfl but tactically naive or rather too cautious against the bigger sides. You can say he maybe he didn’t have faith in his team this season, but he’s played the same tactics against the bigger teams ever since Rodgers came onto the scene. That season was when we started playing negative pish against the tims, then the Huns the following season. He really needs to play to players strengths though, that’s been my biggest criticism of him.
  16. Have a blue nose mate and he absolutely hated his style of play. Time will tell if it’s the right call or not. But as TC says, can see Moyes ending up back there. Two bang average managers.
  17. Allardyce booted out of Everton
  18. Have you contacted the club / club shop? I’ve always found them very helpful so may know some availability.
  19. Your last point is spot on. In Cosgrove we suddenly had a striker who was able to hold the ball up and successfully lay it off for others around them. Not something Rooney or may are really capable of. Rooney’s qualities of course lay elsewhere. Obviously scoring goals is crucial for a striker so I hope he (Cosgrove) adds that to his game over the summer. Think you’re probably right about McInnes’ thought process, I’d also say he probably had to make a few rushed signings so went for logical, albeit cheaper replacements. I really hope he has a summer where he’s not distracted. That’s what really fucked us over last summer.
  20. Ball definitely isn’t versatile but I wouldn’t be unhappy if he was signed on as a squad player (Just not right back).
  21. That was straight out of left field? Why bother signing for us? AOC certainly played himself into a better deal over the past few weeks. If that was the type of player we'd see on a regular basis, I'd have no qualms about it. Huge if though.
  22. Good thread. It’s a funny one, the result shouldn’t change your outlook on a season, but it has. The team actually delivered when they absolutely needed to. Achieving second spot with that squad, a manage who looked elsewhere twice and didn’t know his best XI for the entire season? That’s pretty good going. As I said in the match thread, hopefully that’s that monkey off dms and the teams back. They know they can do it. That said, it was an incredibly frustrating one as we know that team are capable of playing better than they have for the vast majority of this season. Countless big games they failed to show up. This isn’t a great Celtic side and they were exposed by plenty this season. I’m glad we finally managed it, first clean sheet at park head since 94, that’s no mean feat. But where was that level of intensity and desire before? As you say, it’s a huge summer and I am intrigued to see how McInnes recruits. Still not sure I trust him to do it, his record isn’t great and May really has been a waste of money. Maybe there is hope for him / Rooney to develop a relationship with Cosgrove, but we can’t afford to have an impotent attack like this season. However, I’m confident that if the service is there, the goals will come so my priorities are midfield and defence. The cups this season have been thoroughly disappointing. Having decent draws in both, we really should have capitalised on them. The manner of those big game defeats is what really needs to change for next season. We’re going to lose games, of course we are, just show a bit more ambition and turn up. Give ourselves a fighting chance. Overall, I’d give a B-, good but could improve
  23. Just think he’s a dick for choosing them in the first place. Don’t disagree there’s a player there but I wonder about his attitude. Should have done very well with them.
  24. so that's us won at both unwashed and you weren't present do I see a trend developing Jute
