  1. I don't think he does, or at least not in this instance, they came out flying. It's clearly a psychological thing.
  2. Could see it coming from the 55th min. We sat off them. Cosgrove was excellent in the first half, tiring now though.
  3. Also , display to happen in the RDS tonight, they’d like folk in those seats 10 mins before the game.
  4. Out Bed Work Work 1-2 sevco, McLean Not feeling overly optimistic given how we've performed against them since they came into the league. Not having GMS is a big miss, he's been playing really well of late. Can't see Ball being dropped either, has performed in the past two games.
  5. It's a very poor turnout, weren't they in serious financial trouble?
  6. Made my eyes bleed! BR: Ref got abuse from dons fans, as a consequence wanted to give hibs a pen? but couldn't because they weren't in the box? How did he show this?
  7. We'll go with that then eh Quite like the look of that line-up, Rico, but can't see DM doing it. I reckon we'll play a back 5 with Reynolds being on the left. He'll be shit scared of losing, it's how he's always set up against them since they got promoted (being scared and negative, not that formation per say). 5-4-1 is my guess.
  8. It doesn't guarantee second...but it would be a massive step in the right direction. A massive game for us. Not winning is not an option.
  9. I love football forums, I was not aware of his previous palace affinity . That’s really doing the first too as they HATE each other. Still, what’s he’s done for Brighton as a club can’t be underestimated. Pleased for him.

  11. A beige one. Whether you follow the English Premier League or not, this is fantastic for a club like Brighton. Superb effort from the commentator For those who don't know, Fatboy slim is a massive Brighton fan, his record label Skint used to sponsor them when they were in the lower leagues.
  12. Think the yellow for mcginn was fair, a red might have seemed harsh, but the yellow for MacKay-Stevens??? Won the ball? Surprised to see McInnes make such a big change (Stewart for may) at half time. Seemed to improve a bit after half time but far too many aimless punts. Overall, I think a draw was probably fair but we could and probably should have won that. Decent game and entertaining despite being goalless. Really need to pack out pittodrie on Tuesday though. Cannot afford to buckle or give those pricks an inch.
  13. Hang in there, good to see you taking matters into your own hands too. Hope it all works out well for you
  14. Watching the game on alba now, not sure what the officials are doing, already got a number of decisions quite clearly wrong. Also, under 18k there? Deary me, I guess a lot of folk are quite rightly pissed off about the cup semi. Would have been nice to have back to back sell outs. Need all the support we can get
  15. So he brought Reynolds in rather than consie!?! I’d actually typed that out when I was first replying to the thread saying it was the type of crazy thing he would do, but deleted it as I thought the consie one was far more logical. Didn’t think we’d see him getting any serious game time again. Anyway, seems like the general opinion was it was a decent battle but unsurprisingly we didn’t score a goal without McLean. Is it repeated on alba later? Should be able to catch it here if it is. What was the crowd out of interest?
  16. Interesting signing and nice to know we actually beat some good competition for his signature. Welcome aboard. Shame we can’t bring our own youth through Presume this guy plays for Scotland u-21’s?
  17. Horrible news Surgery went well by the sounds of it. He’s a fighter, that’s for sure.
  18. Literally no reason to go to Paisley now
  19. I see fat sally is in the press saying it's put Scottish football back on the map
  20. But what if, what if it isn't cheap shite? What if it's actually a decent stadium?
  21. Minijc on twitter said that the last game we won at home in May was against hibs in 2009. Is this true Time to right that wrong!
  22. Sorry, read this last night but didn't have a chance to reply. I know you know I wasn't aiming at anyone here as we've generally had some good debate on this board and it's raised plenty of valid questions. You are only playing devils advocate and I appreciate that. My argument is with others elsewhere and with the fact that someone in the profession has taken their time, more importantly a fan, to draw up and test the site should be enough evidence alone. Especially given that they've got no contractual link to the club. Not someone who has sketchup and thinks they can adapt / copy a stadium from elsewhere in the world (as some of the examples I've seen). I know that some football crowds aren't known for their intelligence but fuck me, it's actually been drawn out to standards. Having had him labelled as unimaginative by some folk was ridiculous. We all know footprint of the site at Pittodrie is what is limiting. We've missed opportunities over the years. The road can definitely be moved, it would take time and some houses would need to be bought up and I'd imagine that these are all unknowns for the club to deal with. business never likes these, let alone when they're trying to build something. Don't really think the club owe the council anything regarding the Pittodrie site. I don't doubt that the club have probably never wanted to stay, probably because they knew they'd get a better deal in terms of land availability and size. The argument that they've let this happen to Pittodrie is probably partly true, I say partly because refurbishing isn't cheap either and we've been skint for so long so it's not like we had the opportunity to do it before. Unfortunately we are where we are, and something needs to be done far sooner rather than later. We can all disagree with the strategy they have adopted but christ, if we really feel that strongly about it, protest about it rather than moan on their facebook posts or twitter. Do something about it. The infrastructure will come along with the development, the motorway is being built. It's far from an ideal inner city location, it's a shite one I definitely agree, but it will be easier for some to get to. I'd way prefer to have a train station nearby as I hate the idea of having to rely on buses but we've little choice at the moment. I have no doubt that businesses will open up around the area to cater to fans needs. People adapt, they always do. I don't expect to convince people, it's not my job to and I believe the battle lines have been drawn. This is far from my ideal scenario. I think Tom put it quite succinctly, we have to do something, nothing is not an option. It is impossible to please everyone, let alone Aberdeen fans. Tom / Baggy, you're right, it was darlo I was thinking of, knew it was a shite north east English town
  23. Absolutely shite from the club, although the bit about having to clean up after themselves? What a daft thing to moan about, of course you should do that?!? I’d have thought that Afc would let them use their refuse storage though, seems very Scrooge like. There has to be more to this. What the hell is the “fan rep” and the dst actually doing Sad state of affairs, our displays are always pretty good and the club even ends up using it in their promotional material Anyway back on topic. COYR into these hibbie bastards
  24. That’s it, it was Darlington not Hartlepool I get the point that some are saying he’s (SM) has allowed this situation to happen, but I can’t help but feel that they’re ignoring the fact that we had no fucking money up until recently. Even then, we don’t have any money, not really. All well and good saying we should have maintained pittodrie etc but the costs would have spiraled. I hate the location of the new stadium, but as you say tom, something needs to happen. The morons on twitter and another rival board need to accept you can’t just build whatever you want.. There are reasons for regulations. Unfortunately there are some that refuse to listen despite all the evidence being put in front of them. Fans are what make a stadium, not where it is, not what it is but our support is split. whatever happens they need to get behind it. Given the home support is shite, I doubt it’ll happen. God forbid something nice getting built in Aberdeen
  25. Really should be looking to have a sell out at this one. I know folk are disappointed that the seasons has petered out into a bit of nothingness, but there's still a decent wedge of cash available. Would be nice to finish the season strongly. Agreed, nothing against the hibbies. Good bunch of fans
