  1. Although I'm decidedly unimpressed by McGhee's reign so far, based purely on results before MiniJC starts. I have a feeling we'll win this one. Surely luck at some point has to come in to play, we are due a win and the huns are due a loss. 2 -0.
  2. McRobbie? Good news though. Seemed to be raving about him on the televised matches. Had also read somewhere that the club weren't too hopeful of him signing on, such was the interest from elsewhere.
  3. I mentioned him being a traitor once but I think I got away with it. Just joking Mr Holden, if your reading, you big yank hun/tim . Sign for us, we can only pay you in chip suppers from Willies chipper, but we're a great laugh.
  4. Thing is he's been prolific before down here, I don't think it would be out-with the realms of possibility that Charlton, Southampton, Norwich, Notts County, Yeovil, if your talking proximity, and a fair few others are having a look at the situation. He's free, if he can recapture the form of 3 seasons ago it could be the touch paper for their promotion/relegation avoidance push and gives him another chance at the big bucks available in the Championship.
  5. MarkyMark made him run away crying, so doubt he'll be posting (Probably too busy triple padlocking his wallet anyway). Dave will be along in while to tell us how it'll be easy to get there once he's built a monorail to Nig , if that's any consolation.
  6. Aye but your discounting L1+ L2 clubs, who'll offer around what we can, some more some less with the added bonus of not having to move the entire length of the country.
  7. You'd think. Given his switching of international allegiances, I'll plump for one of the OF.

Depends how much influence Dennis has on team affairs nowadays. He seems to have always had his blue eyed boy out of the two drivers and no doubt in this instance it would be Hamilton. Maybe under the new regime both will be given a fair crack, although I suppose that will only be until one asserts their dominance and I don't think there is any denying Hamilton is faster.
  9. Wasn't Hamilton a £250K or £300K signing by the glorified caretaker Paul Hegarty? And people wonder how we ended up £10 million in debt . Winters partner was the disinterested virtually immobile Mike Newell was it not we certainly paid a fee for him too (£150K and I think another Miller signing or does Aitken win that accolade?).
  10. I have a memory that Hignett was supposedly on £7k a week with us. I also have in my head that we were a bargaining chip with 'boro that backfired, and he spent most of his time here trying to get away. Did he not give out about Millers coaching methods after he left? Was Miller not recommended to Milne by Craig Brown?
  11. I just don't think anyone could believe the shambles he turned the club into in such a short space of time. It was a fair while ago but I still remember being convinced it was a deliberate attempt to destroy us from within. Perhaps it was because there was a genuine dislike for the guy before he was given the job and that just intensified after the awful performances, awful results and awful transfer policy. One bad signing or decision to let a decent player go you could forgive, but to do it over and over again in such quick succession beggared belief. I also have it in my head that on several occasions prior to being our manager he had made it quite clear how much he disliked us, but I could be doing him a disservice??
  12. Probably best you don't, I can only imagine the size of the protest (even now, 12 years later) if you found out the extent of the DELIBERATE damage he did to AFC.
  13. Black Tuesday - The single most destructive date in Aberdeen's history.
  14. Who knows? but strange thing to write for a supporter of any other team.
  15. Thought the same thing. An article written by a hun, who has recently been critical of the Huns (and their support), to appease his hun paymasters. Bit of a shame because the most important point was: I'm sorry Mister Speirs in this instance it is you, not the Aberdeen support, who is living in the past (as the rest of your breed like to claim of us). Claiming that the current director of FOOTBALL, can in any way be responsible for the clubs racking up of debt in the ten or so years prior to his appointment or Stewart Milne's subsequent tight purse strings; is desperate straw clutching at best. At worst it is jumping on the idiots bandwagon in a cheap attempt at point scoring against someone who denied your team chances of silver-wear time and again in the 80's, with the added bonus of dividing the Aberdeen support some more. I sense a desperate supporter hurting at the desperate nature of his teams plight using the tried and tested hun special of, if there is no ridiculous arguments left, deflect!
  16. Like Dundee? Or is McGhee being granted the "He IS a better manager than Calderwood, only the players that Calderwood signed can't be coached any better" excuse that has been trotted out previously this season. Otherwise I agree the aim should be to win a trophy, not just reach the final.
  17. 1st, anybody who thinks any different has the team they deserve.
  18. Aye but would he kick his Grunnie?
  19. I see what your saying but he may have stopped in the next aisle and picked up a 9 pack of these
  20. Did he have a chauffeur with him?
  21. Aberdeen, Celtic & Hearts = BAD Rangers & the Meejia = Good
  22. How to, attempt to make a 3 year old girl look 6 years old while actually making her look 14.
  23. Not sure why but this makes me feel a little sick, am I the only one?
  24. What the fuck is going on here? Is it a reservoir?
  25. Wrong thread.
