Finally got round to watching Shutter Island last night anyone who's seen it got an opinion on the ending?
**Spoliers**
As far as I can see there are three possible sceanrios...
Scenario 1) Teddy/Laeddis does genuinely have a relapse
Scenario 2) He is Laeddis rather than Teddy and feels so much guilt he chooses to have himself lobotomised so fakes the relapse
Scenario 3 (the one I like)) He is Teddy, he was fed drugs on his arrival to the island as he was asking too many questions about Laeddis and what went on in the Island in the real world and he chooses to be lobotomised rather than live the torment of knowing he can never leave the Island. I think the last frame of the Lighthouse shows that they are conducting lobotomies and further experiments on patients brains there which was denied when explaining their "reality" to him.
Have to watch it again, in any case.
I am no bottynal fan or follower.
To suggest Van Persie's sending off was fair is akin to suggesting 99.9% of decisions in favour of the OF are fair, regardless of the numerous lesser decisions that all went one way tonight.
Barcelona - The best team on the night, of the moment and possibly one of the best in history.
Arsenal - An excellent footballing side cheated out of a chance to tactically defend their way into the quarter finals of the champions league.
This is football not a competition to see who can play the prettiest and most passiest (sic), and if ever that was to be proved it was tonight, unfortunately we were denied by FIFA.
Watched The Fighter, great film Bale excellent as usual, and Faster, The Rock and Billy Bob Thornton excellent, only bad points were the English boy who was pointless and probably slightly more pointless, his bird.
When your being paid to be at home doing the gardening. I'm guessing DiMatteo doesn't believe they would have been relegated had he remained in charge and is wanting paid all of the remainder of his contract. West Brom will not be wanting to pay it all and want to negotiate a reduced amount. Hence the stand off, and the gardening leave.
Unless of course there is another reason (conduct) for his sacking and they are awaiting the outcome of the internal investigation to get him out and depending on level of guilt and negotiation over non-disclosure the negotiated pay off. a la Martin Allen at Cheltenham last season.
Watched the whole series in American time. Wait till Jimmy's mate Richard comes into to it. The scene with Liam in the Coffee shop, brilliant! And I think Michael Kenneth Williams may have found, in Chalky White, a character at least as cool as Omar.
Doesn't matter how many times Craig Burley says it was "a definite penalty" a player touching his opponent on the arm will not suddenly be added to the rule book as a foul.
Wonder what the chances are of Aberdeen fans hounding this referee out of a job for such blatant cheating.
If its not true how come James Vaughan played for Derby, Everton and Leicester last season. Last season at Cheltenham we had Matt Thornhill on loan from Forest after he had already played for them and been playing for Brighton on loan.
It happens all the time in the English lower leagues.
*edit Having typed googled what you were on about I found this...
http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/motherwell/223267-motherwell-may-seek-answers-over-loan-deal-inconsistencies/
So different rules for Scotland then...
Apologies to NorthfieldQuine she is quite correct.
Incorrect. As a player your registration can only be held by two clubs in a season and that is only held by the club that owns your contract not clubs you are on loan to.
Drinkwater was recalled from Cardiff, by Fergie, as he wisnae playing. Would seem likely.
Fit about McFadden how close is he to a return from injury??
*edit after reading above, surely likely in consideration is McArthur. Only played handful of times, Martinez to bench his normal first picks???

Probably a pain in the hoop to work out but what difference
3 points for a win
2 for a score draw
and
1 for nil v nil
?
Looks like the same as last weeks Aberdeen to find out in next 48hrs... blah blah blah...
According to google 1 hour ago
Although when you click on it the story appears to be from yesterday.
