Arnason's yellow after 8 minutes set the tone. I was surprised we made it to half time without some of ours being sent off. Such was the reffing, I kind of expected Milsom to get a talking too over being assaulted. And how the huns didn't get at least a free kick after Naismith got fouled by the turf... I know Mackie isn't the greatest but to me it looked like a tug on his shirt the way his hand went up looked like it was an attempt at correcting his balance. If it was in the EPL it would have been a pen, no question. I can only assume Columnt was on some kind of bonus scheme to make sure at least one Aberdeen player got a red card. After Fallon got sent to the dressing room for having the audacity to challenge for a header. The real low point for me, however, was Booth's co-commentary.

Surely Dr Tyrell will be able to sort him out??

That's not his fault though . -
Sunday Herald: Mark McGhee on his Aberdeen experience
baggy89 replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
McGhee was manager at the time Sone fucked off to the Nigerian U20 side. Why did he feel it either acceptable to do that or feel like like he couldn't give two shits what McGhee thought. Either way it wasn't McGhee's fault, according to McGhee. According to McGhee HIS assistant Scott Leitch "has to be reeled in as he's one of those guys who gets emotional and angry" but isn't a bully. That much of not a bully that a players mum travels from London to become involved in the non-bullying. All of that is irrelevant anyway has 30 years ago Fergie used to throw teacups at them. Is it any wonder the players disliked sunday training - someone involved in the interview with Mark McGhee also didn't like Sunday training. Not Mark McGhee's fault though. The secretary, dinner ladies, groundsmen, players, the players mums, media, fans, chairman... didn't instantly want to be Mark McGhee's best friend and run around after him, who's fault??? Not Mark McGhee's. So in consideration you can see why Mark McGhee can rest easy knowing that the reason he wasn't able to sweep in and instantly alter the whole clubs outlook from top to bottom, implement change, and improve results is not Mark McGhee's. I can see Rockets points but to deny the article is arrogant self serving pish from a very bitter man is as blinkered as denying there is anything deeper wrong with the club. Something that I don't think anyone here is saying. -
Did you get with the hotels? I got two for the Saturday with extortionate hotel rooms. Trying for some more for a couple of mates but they can sleep on the streets for all I care.

What the Fuck is this

I think we should have a play-off against Atletico Madrid to see who was the true winner of the 09/10 Europa League after we fielded an ineligible manager against Sigma Olamuc.

Willie Miller's Aberdeen Dream Team
baggy89 replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Definitely done something similar in the past and was equally dismissive of Varga, then. Was there not some issue where he got voted second best AFC player of all time behind Varga and has been in a sulk about it since. -
Fairly certain the "two cars on the driveway" was aimed at Scott Morrison. Not sure it needs contextualised further as I'd assume Rockets evaluation of the boy would not have been too different from Jimmy's.

I'm well aware of the oft repeated soundbites. Do you STILL merely pay lip service to your stated opinion that the board of AFC continually make incorrect decisions at incorrect times to the detriment of the football part of the business, in order to attempt to have confrontations with usernames on the Internet?

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act

Looks like the start of a ruck from that clip. Naismith swinging wildly with his elbows and (is it?) Clubfoot performing a two handed shove, whilst not looking at the ball, on Keddie? as he's going up for a header. -
The OBJECT OF THE GAME FOR FUCKS SAKE

Surely its this type of lack of imagination with the last two appointments that have got us to where we are now. So I'd say he's a shoe-in -
More likelihood than there was was of magoo walking. Brown has self-respect.

Can't think of a lower time. At least under the jimmies embarrassing cup defeats you knew we'd probably win the next seven or eight league games. Stifling tactics are strangulating this team.

This club is fucking dead and rotten.

eh? -
We've only been in need of full-backs for a season or two now, surely this is a much more important signing being that we've been crying out for an overhead kick specialist since Belabed left.

Sit down and please pretend you like the opposition

Surely the issue is sectarianism not name calling. "Officer arrest that man he has suggested that I ate a rodent for high tea yesterday evening and that I am unaware of what soap is! I can assure you this is quite untrue! I have eaten battered sausage and chips from the free food receptacle out the back of the chipper washed down with a bottle of Buckfast everyday this week and I once saw some of this soap stuff he mentioned in the bathroom facilities in the job centre." How difficult is it to understand? Dirty Fenian Fucker - Sectarian and possibly offensive, but ultimately the kind of nonsense that gives Scottish football a bad name. Sheep Shagging Bastard - Inoffensive, no mock outrage here. Hun cunt - I'll let you make up your own minds... -
A man walks down the street, He says why am I short of attention, Got a short little span of attention, And wo my nights are so long, Where's my wife and family, What if I die here...

I think he's on his way to the land of roundabouts and concrete cows.

The only way to possibly keep up with the fantasy nations is to stop trying to copy them and instead try something different. My vision has always been the "socialist" league as ably demonstrated by the anti-communist Yanks. 1. Disolve the three Scottish bodies 2. Create a new league structure (Make this league structure viable, long term) 2.1.1 Equally shared outside revenues i.e TV 2.1.2 Equally shared gate receipts 2.1.3 Shirt sponsorship, Internet etc. to remain independent 2.2. One centralised national training centre. Pool our resources. 2.2.1 Draft system from centralised training centre. i.e. Team bottom of (current SPL) first choice, team bottom of SD1 second choice etc. (based on two tier top league system) 2.2.2 A limit to the "big name" players per £ per team. 2.2.3 Local leagues below "top leagues" amalgamate amateur leagues into new "local" league structure. There's bound to be shit unworkable ideas in amongst mine so feel free to add subtract e.t.c.

Redweb: Park and Ride to Every Home Match
baggy89 replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Maybe they think its because of a lack of info on the park and ride service that attendances are poor. This is AFC under Stewart Milne after-all.
