  1. Aren’t Wigan in admin? Or financial difficulties with new owners being sought, at least? Maybe we are looking at a swap with a player on their books earning more than Ojo?
  2. Wright's definitely better than Hagi. Fair play to him because I bet the huns are paying him a good wedge just because his Dad had a sweet left foot. Maybe Wrights decision is based on his injury record. If he went to england he'd be signing for a lower Championship team or promotion chasing L1 side on not as much money as the huns will be paying him, and he'd need a sustained run of games and form to get a move to a side paying as much as the huns will be. Maybe he thinks he won't manage that and will be quite happy getting £10k p/w (or whatever) to play every second Sunday for 60 minutes. I think if it had been a straight swap in the summer for McCrorie virtually no Aberdeen fans would have cared, and all the huns would have been raging. As it is he played himself in to a bit of form and because the huns are operating with huge yearly losses they are shopping for slightly better than average SPFL players for free or cheap transfers. Their fan base has also convinced themselves, in much the same way that they have convinced themselves their former club wasn't liquidated, that they're getting him for free and one over on us.
  3. Apparently he's a Don, so very strange decision. Unless the new huns are so obsessed with us that they are the only team willing to pay way over the odds for a continuously injured player and he's willing to risk being sparked out at Perth races and/or made to cry at Soul for a few quid more per week. The only logical explanation as far as I can see, is that he and the rat are lovers. Covid has messed with their trysts and he figures the only way to rekindle their romance is signing for the huns.
  4. I blame the parents. ? Highlights the appalling state of new hun finances. Can't even afford a few grand to prevent the psychological damage likely to be done to the lad. What with him having to worry about potentially being in a team with the rat in 6 months time. Hopefully Considine breaks his leg in his final training session, or even the Aberdeen lad that plays for hibs in the post-split game for 100% deniability, would be best for all concerned.
  5. The ones running the club should be well aware of the young promising players with allegiances to the tims or either version of the huns. It's understandable that talented young players want to maximise their earning potential. It's also understandable that those who have allegiances (and little ambition) will want to play for whichever. What is not understandable or acceptable; is Aberdeen being in a position where young & talented players, older & average (in the case of the rat) or just those that cause these teams problems on the pitch, are allowed to move to these clubs ,for free or as good as. They are in the same division, ideally we'd like to be challenging them for titles and cups, they already have huge financial advantages (however dodgy). They are also more than willing to spend a couple of million on foreign players, but never, it seems, on promising young Scottish players. As a juxtaposition consider the figures young English players command, a league where the teams with money aren't solely out to maintain their monopoly at the expense of any sporting competition whatsoever. The club must have links to organisations or individuals who can recommend these players to 2nd or 3rd division teams in England while they have at least a year left on their contracts. Losing players to the huns or the tims for fuck all will eventually damage the relationship between the club and fans.
  6. Is the position Wright has been playing not the same as what McLennan was playing at youth level?
  7. Do we have a fee to pay for McRorie? From what I can find, McRorie signed a contract with The Rangers International Football Club Ltd taking him to Summer 2021? So both his and Wrights contracts finish at the same time. Thought the development fee only kicked in if the club who did the development offered a contract? We obviously did with Wright, but can't understand the huns having done it with McRorie? In which case, the negotiation is difference between wages, (possibly negligible?) plus our compensation minus pro-rata, any loan fee we paid in August. Likely means the huns are due us money, hence the bollocks about Stewart etc. Club are right though. Now Wright has outed himself as an Aberdeen hun, even though there are no fans in the ground for matches, his position as an Aberdeen player is untenable. Another Rat.
  8. Odd timing for Wright. One decent full season (no time out with injuries) and he'd likely get a decent offer. Currently I reckon he'll be getting offers from a Salford, FGR etc.
  9. Huns do to the Tims what all their followers slag other teams for doing to them. Must have been about 20 minutes of that first half with 11 huns in the final third behind the ball. Also I’d like to see a ref, just once, blow for the foul for the shirt pull, then card the fouled player for throwing themselves to the ground. “The player had a hold of your shirt above waist level, what made your legs give way?”
  10. Depends if he's applied for settled status...
  11. The Tims are not bowing to mob rule ?, but McInnes 'should' at least in contention. In any other country he would be. For 7 out of the last 8 seasons he's been the closest contender to 3 Celtic managers and his record against Gerrard must be about as good as Lennon's despite the gulf in finance.
  12. Just binged both, series 1 & 2 of Brassic. Only 12 episodes. Fucking hilarious, best thing I've watched in a long time. "Your pigs a cunt!"
  13. That was shambolic. Only positive is two massive deflections and a soft penalty. Why does such a despicable shower get so much good fortune? Highlight for me was McCoist commending Tavernier on his “fantastic record” of 10 goals against us (9 of which were penalties).
  14. Got to get a win as retribution for one of them reporting me to Instagram for hate speech. I encouraged Tom Stoltman for his WSM final by writing " 'mon Tom ya dirty hun cunt". ? Bunch of racist, truth denying, snowflakes...
  15. Andy Considine only qualifies for major tournaments.
  16. Am fucked! Was 18 last we played in the World Cup. Would have cared less had we lost: mental.
  17. See the huns are releasing a "retro" top in order to celebrate their history keep the wolves from the door. Does 2012 count as retro?
  18. Sad news about uncle Ebbe. Was great time to be a dons fan, when he was manager. Loads of happy times! Sna ba’s game a particular highlight.
  19. Aye, a pity it's not the semi this weekend.
  20. It was Considine alongside Anderson in 06/07 at 19/20 years old that qualified us for Europa League under Jimmy. I think Anderson leaving the following season forcing the more regular inclusion of Diamond on the right and the signings of Mair and more so Mulgrew the season after, hampered Considine's development. Was around that time he seemed to bulk up lose what pace he had, before being shunted to left back. I think when he moved back after Mulgrew went to the Tims, he struggled against the better teams. Was almost nailed on for a few seasons he'd give away a penalty occasionally combined with a red card against Celtic. Sometimes people remember only that Considine; and not the dependable CB/LB we've had for the last 7-8 years since he improved his positional play and concentration. No doubt in my mind that Considine would have played at a higher level than Diamond did, had he left to England. Never really got why managers seemed to trust him at times then not. That said likely be 4th all time by seasons end and if he keeps playing for another couple of seasons could end up 3rd behind only Miller and McLeish. Good going considering some of the opinions I've read about him over the years.
  21. £3 million up front seems a bit pish, when you consider Forest fans think they'll get £15 - 20 million for Joe Worrall.
  22. Thought he was a better DM than the rat was/is, based on times I saw him play season before last and played CB too, I think. However, hun mink and positions we are drowning in. Maybe just me, but deal also has a stink of something more.
  23. Allegedly, Cosgrove McKenna McGeoch Bryson Kennedy Devlin These 6 appear in all lists I’ve seen. The last two vary and names include. Anderson, Ojo, Ferguson, Hayes.
