Ally McCoist's blatant attempt to put pressure on the SFA tribunal with his "Who are these people?" comments, which directly incited violent and vitriolic hounding of supposedly annonymous members, must surely comprimise any similarly structured appeal process. Given that these comments which, IMO, directly lead to threats against the original panel, I feel that the new appeals panel should be excused (if nothing else than for their own safety), the decision allowed to stand, and further action be taken against McCoist for what was frankly an outrageous example of bringing the game into disrepute. 'Bringing the game into disrepute'. Holy Shit. I remember when that meant what Neil Lennon does every fucking week. Rangers have managed to blow that so completely off the scale that it no longer has any meaning. I have previously said on this board (paraphrasing) that my ideal situation would be for them to be hobbled and have to suffer the 'ignomy' of lower 6 SPL for the foreseeable future, while the rest of us watch and laugh. Not any more. Not even Div 3. I want them to end, cf Third Lanark or Gretna.

As far as I can see, Neil Doncaster is about as uselful as a chocolate teapot, and far less appealing. Who on earth appointed this empty suit, and what would it take to get rid of the guy? Does any one individual have the power to sack him? It surely can't be the SPL board, as he's a member of that. IMO opinion he should have resigned and fucked off back down south after the '10 team SPL is the only option' farce.

Agree with the sentiment, but doubt this highlighted last part. I would think that the collapse of the Lib Dem vote could quite easily be reversed, and an intra party coup de tat, with Simon Hughes or similar taking control of the UK party, and distancing it from the Tories would see a flocking back of their currently disenfranchised core vote.

I don't understand how it can possibly be legal to transfer valuable assets to a new company rather than selling them off to service the hundreds of millions of debt owed. Surely any such attempt would be challenged by HMRC, who should be claiming ownership of Ibrox, Murray park and all the player registrations for starters. Can anyone with more legal knowledge provide insight?

Two thoughts arise from the lastest 'developments'. 1. Asking anyone, let alone a creditor who is owed £14M to cough up £500,000, non refundable, for 'prefered bidder' status on a company in real danger of ceasing to exist puts me in mind of one of these email scams that asks you to pay some handling fee, and provide your bank details in order to be paid huge sums by some non-existant African royalty. 2. Among all of the doom and gloom that is setting in surrounding speculation about R*@$ers 'getting away with it' by getting back into the SPL somehow, largely on the basis of smoke and mirrors press speculation, the most important point seems to be getting lost, i.e. they are completely and utterly royally fucked, and it's hilarious. So be of good cheer.

Neil Lennon is an odious greeting faced wee shite. That is all.

I think that more importantly than punishing them, if they are to be allowed back in, it MUST be on the condition of changing the voting structure to 9-3. Everything else comes secondary to that. Once this farcical protectionist duopoly is broken, a genuinely fair voting system should be used to make wholesale changes to the way the league is run in general, and in particular how the money is distributed. I would go as far as to say that a) All income from gate receipts should be pooled and split between the 12 clubs and b) A percentage of any European prize money should kick back to the league to be redistributed. (I'm not sure how this second one could be enforced, but I'm sire something could be worked out). If the old firm aren't willing to accept this, they can go and find some other league that is willing to take them. The sporting integrity of the SPL has been damaged not just by the finacial misbehviour of Rangers, but by the way the two of them squeeze the other clubs. I would rather see the SPL and all of it's member clubs, including our own, go to the wall than carry on the way things are.

Aberdeen v Celtic OOT (Even if I was in the country) I hate Cetic. HATE. I object to their mis-placed, self absorbed sense of superiority. I object to the fact that we are somehow vaguely thought to be sympathetic to them just because we fucking hate the huns. I object to the riduculous prices to watch the same mediocre dirge at Parkhead as everywhere else, but with a worse view. I hate them, and seeing their name next to ours makes me sad. In conclusion. Boooooooooooooooo to Celtic.

Did you see the last time we played them? For the first goal I was torn in two between Scotland scoring and the utter shiteness of McArdle. *Rory, min, RORY! YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! FUCK SAKE RORY* -

One of our rivals is going to be without an important player for a long time. Surely this is a good thing, no?
