  1. I bought the new top today, very nice!
  2. Thats one less paedo in the world.
  3. Yep, it speaks volumes about the rest that are here! I'm sad to see him go, but we all knew that he was gone halfway through the season. There were some obvious (and unobvious) signs that he was on his way and it did appear from his performances that his heart just wasn't in it. A great professional, a decent footballer that we'll find difficult to replace, but certainly not the player he was only a few seasons ago. He leaves on good terms and I hope with the best wishes of the fans. Good luck Seve.
  4. I watched that too, I thought it was great. New series of Top Gear tonight too, I couldn't believe that they revealed The Stig! Not sure whether to believe it or not, surely someone would have noticed him at the studios each week?
  5. I know there isn't a direct quote for it, but I don't agree with this bit at all:
  6. A breather, with a gay cider in Strongbow before a trip back home for a luke warm can of Tennents...
  7. Off to Bremen for a Becks, then across the border for a Carlsberg in Kobenhaven.
  8. After a shitty yank Bud Ice (must have been on offer), to a rather girlfriend bashing Belgian Stella Artois.
  9. A short hop over to Italy brings us to Peroni.
  10. Going round the world in lager tonight. Just kicked off in Holland with a Grolsch, before catching a flight to swine flu ridden Mexico for a Corona. Next stop is Czech Republic for a Staropramen.
  11. I'll be getting this seasons new shirt. The last two AFC shirts I bought got 'lost' in Dnipro.
  12. Diamond for me. Diamond is certainly vocal enough, and I already think he does the captains role on the pitch when Severin far too often does his disappearing act. I have my doubts that there is anthing sensible going on between Kerr's ears. So for him, its a no.
  13. Great use of the crystal ball there. Who has said that he is the messiah? I don't think he is.
  14. New manager means a new start. The expectations for McGhee this season are probably the same expectations that would have been in place if JC was still here. Namely, a European spot in the league and decent runs in cup competitions. These expectations haven't gone away. But they are not expectations for McGhee alone but for the group of players that he will inherit and for the club as a whole. What he will get is time to make the team his own and to develop his own style of play and tactics. From us he should expect full support and patience while he tries to do this. Along the way there will be a few defeats, a few disappointments and probably some pish football. McGhee isn't a magic wand for all our problems, but I do think he is the right man now to deliver progress. Thats exactly what I want to see in the coming seasons - progress. In terms of performance, success and in the financial position of the club. Beating Rangers at Ibrox, stylish football and even silverware all 'nice to haves' which shouldn't distract us from our aim of progress on and off the pitch.
  15. If he doesn't come here I can just say that it is in reference to Mark Kerr. Nobody will notice! Besides, its not as if people actually think that you believe Mackie IS Ace do they? Do you?
  16. I'm not believing any of this until I see McGhee in the broom cupboard with a pen in hand!
  17. Can someone just swallow their pride, admit they are wrong and we can draw a line under this tedious shite? Christ, someone is wrong on the internet!
  18. Inconclusive. I don't think that confirms it either way.
  19. Anything other than football is considered a minority sport in my house.
  20. There possibly couldn't be more than one book written about The Beatles could there?
  21. I can't stand American Football. Utter tosh as far as I am concerned.
