Indeed. I agree. I too have to watch when and where I vocalise my opinion on the army (or any of the armed forces) because to show anything other than a blind "support the troops" type of attitude will make you be seen as some sort of UK hating monster. It's clever actually. All this "support the troops" propaganda really helps the Government swerve the negative attention it receives from using our armed forces for their financial gains. They've made it really hard for people to publicly criticize their war mongoring because it's deemed as a lack of support for the "heroes serving on the front line".

Agreed. I was sitting near some silly bint at the Dundee United game who slated him for anything she could. Even slagging the weight of his passes when there was fuck all wrong with the passes. He did get caught once in that game but as you said he's got experience which helps and although he is past his best he's still more than good enough at reading the game to remain effective. I think his spell on the sidelines has done him good. Russell has never been known for superb distribution but this is another area where he's head and shoulders above Hector. Hector, for me, is sometimes a bit too casual and gives the ball away too much. Anyway. Cracking result today. Let's keep this up.

Gutted that Celtic won. I thought both teams looked pretty good going forward. Ajax missed so many chances! But Ajax were a bomb scare at the back and I thought that was the difference. Although they were unlucky for Celtic's second goal. Arsenal finally got beat. Dortmund are going to be worth watching again this season.

I suspect it was more of a lack of remaining playing budget. And that fact that midfield is probably the area that needs strengthened least.

Horrible game. Good result so I guess we have to be satisfied with that. I was pleased for Zola. The abuse he's taking from our own fans is embarrassing.
