Nae doobt! Saw it last night. It was never going to match up to the first one but it does pretty well. A lot of funny bits and some plain shite bits. But on the whole it's worth seeing if you generally like Will Farrell films.

That's true but the way he captained the team last weekend was partly what I had in mind when I suggested he's maturing. He was absolutely superb. Also the way he's conducted himself since the summer. You'll all appreciate how rare it is for a player to make such a high profile attempt to engineer a move away from a club and not succeed which is a credit to the people running Liverpool. But what's a credit to Suarez is how he's accepted Liverpool's decision and knuckled down on the pitch. It's even rarer to have a player try to engineer a move, not get it and then produce the form of his life at a club that he supposedly has no interest in being at. So I stand by what I said. Maturing as a man and a player. There will probably be incidents in the future but hopefully not as many. Although his hunger to play seems to increase with every ban!

Nonsense, Jute, min. I know you're all hoping he falls flat on his arse again in some way but I believe he's maturing as a man as well as a player. Don't get me wrong, he's still unpredictable to an extent but to more or less suggest his goal-scoring form indicates that he's away to bite someone is pish. As a man who follows Liverpool I can say that it would have to be a truly mental amount of money before I'd say "sell" because there's not a single other player that I'd rather have. And certainly not one that would come to Liverpool. (Aguero?). I'm delighted that Liverpool are trying to get him signed up again although I suspect that nothing will be decided until at least the end of the season as Luis quite rightly wants to play in the CL League.

Hard to disagree with any of that, Bobby. And aye I remember that Scotland game well. Another criticism of Russell I've heard throughout his whole career is that he's not vocal enough. I've always argued otherwise and you've backed up that view point there. I mind one game at Tannadice when I think it was Michael Hart and Dick Byrne were having a bit of a barney. Russell went over to them, said his piece and walked away. He got slated for this by some for not doing enough. I think some want him to be a full time baby sitter. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You don't need to spend the whole game screaming and shouting to be vocally adequate.

I have no sympathy. Home advantage means you can stack the odds in your favour. Aberdeen do it as well I'm sure. We water one half of the pitch more then the other at half time.

Do everyone else a favour and leave the kid at home. I realise it's a kids' film but if your kids can't behave don't take them out in public where they're likely to ruin the film for others. There was one brat that spoke and cried through the whole film and the parents were quite happy to let the little fucker yammer on and on and the mother even kept moving between seats (one of them much closer to me) with the kid for some fucking reason. Got on my tits. They don't appreciate or understand what they're watching anyway.

I wouldn't say he's as good as he's ever been. In 2007 just before he went to Sunderland he was at his peak for us IMO my opinion. He was the best centre half in the SPL premier league. He's definitely benefiting from playing alongside Reynolds and Considine (who I now consider to be the best defender at the club).
