That 2009 game was enough to put me off ever going back so there was no chance of me going to the 2010 game.
-
I watched the last 15 minutes I think. There or thereabouts. It was 1-1 when I started watching. Really good work rate from Cardiff and Frazier Campbell doing his old club a turn as well as his current one.

Apparently you want to go off the beaten track if you visit Venice. Everyone mentions how expensive the restaurants are in the touristy part of the place. I'm away to TK Maxx at lunch time to see about finally getting a decent case of my own to save me having to keep borrowing one. Nae this one though: http://www.tkmaxx.com/view-all-accessories/blue-hard-shell-spinner-suitcase/invt/10035979&bklist=icat,4,shop,1,1091

Like many people I've been thinking about this a lot. Particularly with it just being a matter of time before I'm sent offshore in one of these crafts. I work a company that has a helicopter ditch training facility up in Altens and hear often that paying the fee and turning up pretty much ensure you'll be certified as "trained" to deal with a situation like this. Folk turn up who can't swim or who can't speak a word of English but are mollycoddled through. I just hope that this hasn't cost anyone their lives on this occasion. I should point out that I've not seen this happening. But have heard many tales of the like happening. It's not good enough. If you can't fucking swim you should learn before you go offshore. It's not difficult. Doesn't everyone get swimming lessons at school? And putting a useless swimmer next to the instructor so they can pull them out if they struggle is fucking useless for preparing them for a real-life situation. Now although I know there's nothing to suggest that a lack of training caused deaths I feel my point about making sure offshore workers are fully prepared is a valid one. Safety is not an area where corners should ever be cut. What I did hear is that the chopper ditched very suddenly and that those on board apparently didn't even have time to brace. How factual this is I have no idea in all honesty. I hope they get to the bottom of this and I hope the heads roll that need to roll.

Sweet as a nut from Barry Nic.

I did seem to be the only one not predicting a walk in the park. We have a poor record down there and as we've seen at Ibrox a poor record does stay in the back of the minds of the players. We need a good, professional performance tomorrow and an attacking performance against St. Johnstone. Let's get our season back on track and leave the nooses alone for just now, eh.

Rocket, min, I don't think it's fair that you're blaming the helpless innocent dug for a poor decision made by your family. To be tbh honest I think we should be punching the person walking the dog in the face instead. That'll teach the bitches a much more valuable lesson.
-
Sounds cracking, RDU, min. Unfortunately I've never been in that part of the world so can't really offer any advance on the golden advice already provided by Mentorred. I'm sure all the feminine looking men won't have you questioning your sexuality at all. Seriously though that sounds like it will be a good trip. I'm away soon myself too. Back to Florida. It was ace last year and I'm hoping it'll be even better this year. This time in 2 weeks I'll be at Heathrow (I think). Fuck me, I hate Terminal 5. So cramped and just generally really shite.

The Blue Shite are in for him now too apparently.

Where's yer seat Stewart min? Proudfoot's nae sure if he's going.

Oot. Oot. Oot. Oot. 0-0

This non-story aside I was pretty impressed with the loon on Saturday. He was clearly looking to make Samaras aware from early on that he wasn't going to get time on the ball. Shaughnessy was hard but fair in the tackles and Samaras look terrified. Had Shaughnessy been at centre back for the goal things might have been different. A player that I really rate. I wish we had a left back of the same mould.

I naturally assumed that the chat about Falcao having to be sold was 100% utter pish because it was in the papers.

Agree with Graeme. Yes, Anderson made a howler and left Clangers exposed but that doesn't mean the thick cunt had to bring down the greasy Greek cunt. All Langfield had to do was cover his near post. That was the only place a shot could have went. Samaras was heading away from goal and committing a foul like that against Celtic is only ever going to result in a red card (which I would have been shouting for had the roles been reversed tbh be honest). Even if Samaras had managed to squeeze the ball in at least we'd still have 11 cunts on the cunting park. And agree re Celtic fans being cunts. I was at the fence as per and experienced their cuntishness first hand again. I saw one lad get spat on. Aye he was a mouthy cunt but that's just disgusting. Speaking of cunts did anyone else sitting near or at the fence notice the jobsworth steward cunt itching for a fight? Antagonising anyone and everyone as if they were fucking Al-Qaeda whilst the police had a far more relaxed (sensible) approach to things? At the end he was manhandling some older guy oot the door up at the back of the SS Stand and inviting the old guy to "say it to his face" when he complained. Bully. I fucking hate bullies. So naturally I called him a jobsworth cunt. He ignored me. I assumed because I was much bigger than him and he'd much prefer to confront a smaller, older man to feel hard. Cunt. Cunts.

Is the whole of the RDU open?
-
Very sad and worrying state of affairs right enough. I read that a camera man was shot dead by a sniper. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often to be honest.
-
Can't see Vern getting on the pitch TBH be honest.
-
I've heard noises of Jack being injured in last night's U21 game against England. I can't remember the rest, it escapes me, but hopefully Jack's OK. We need him with Robson being missing.
-
ANyong genuinely confident about getting a result? As overrated as England are we need to remember that this is one of the poorest Scotland Football Club teams of recent memory. :-(
-
Agree completely min. And aye I know who you're on about. It's fucking embarrassing with the "McHun" pish. It's posters like him that put AFC Chat behind Donstalk in my Aberdeen forum pecking order.

Rocket. Name and shame!

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
Tyrant replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
I had a discussion with 2 hun mates the other day about Rangers' punishment and they were of the opinion that they'd been "punished enough" and that "releagting them to the bottom teir was overly harsh". I did try to explain that they weren't relegated. Their club no longer existed. It was the new club that joined the bottom tier because that's where new clubs join the league structure. Not convinced they grasped what I was saying. -
Mini was still looking in fine fettle right enough, when I spotted him last week. Keep it up min.
-
Shocking abuse of power there.

I assumed he was already fully aware of it.
