Maybe you just got in his way while he was watching and he over-reacted. Perhaps you need to consider that sometimes in the heat of the moment some people get overly annoyed about silly litte things. I should clarify for a start that we're talking about two separate people here. Said fat cunt and racist mong are two separate people. Only the fat cunt made the initial remarks but that sparked said racist mong into life. He'll happily shout at home fans for leaving early whilst hurling vile racist shite any anyone brown. Boris treating what's happening later today/tomorrow as a confidence vote thus allowing him to call an election. And what I'm finding utterly bizarre is that quite a number of Labour MP's who have been on TV today are saying that they'll vote down having an election (apparently under the new rules two thirds of MP's must vote in favour of an election for it to happen outwith the Fixed Term Parliament arrangements).

 

I couldn't envisage a better time for Labour. The Brexit Party will be fielding candidates in most constituencies down south and will cream off some of the natural Tory vote and could allow Labour (or Lib Dem) to sneak wins in constituencies which up to now wouldn't even be considered marginal.

 

Big winners  in all this are the SNP who will increase their number of MP's and still have a mandate for a new referendum when Britain inevitably does leave the EU via whatever method it happens under.

Not convinced that's true. I had a look at the poll data earlier today. Admittedly I didn't look closely at every constituency but of those I did Unionist parties (Labour/Tories/Lib Dem/ and let's assume Brexit too) outnumber pro Indy parties (SNP and Greens). Indy still seems a depressingly long way off.

I'm patiently waiting to find out Sturgeon's plan. I admit I'm starting to wonder if she even has one. I thought the same about Corbyn. I assumed incorrectly for a long time that he had a plan. Id've fancied us to qualify given the draws that Dudelange and Linfield had. There were a few brutal draws that they somehow avoided and ended up pairing Eintracht Frankfurt v Strasbourg, Wolves v Torino, AZ Alkmaar v Royal Antwerp and Trabzonspor v AEK Athens...……...every one of which would have beaten those sides by a 5 goal aggregate margin minimum.

We didn't have that difficult a draw. We should have beaten Rijeka (despite so many seemingly adamant that they're class above us. They are not) and we could have given Gent a real run for their money at least. We're agreed though - Our manager never gave us a real chance. (And Logan didn't help but he wasn't the main culprit)

Agree with some of this but Davidson has shafted Boris, they might lose all their seats North of the Border, and all seats will probably go to the SNP and Lib Dems.  Happy days.  South of the border there will be alliances between remain parties which will minimise the damage that these Eton cunts could do to the country.  They might be leading in the polls but I just can't see them getting a majority at all.

 

That said, I think a vote of no confidence followed by temporary government (possibly not with Corbyn at the helm) and extension of Brexit date is most likely option.  Unless a legal move is successful.

I believe if you stay there then you get the parking for free or heavily discounted. I also recently heard of a park and ride bus service a ball hair north of the Forth Road Bridge where you can park for free and you just have to pay the bus fare of a few quid. Ferrytoll Park & Ride I believe it's called.

Same question but for Edinburgh airport? Early flight means I need to stay overnight in Edinburgh, but will not be heading out in the city or anything as I'll arrive quite late on the Thursday, so literally a place for a few hours, but leave the car for a few days. Any suggestion appreciated!

I like it more than a more corporate name like "Costco Park" but not as much as something with hostorical relevance like Miller Park. (Named after Willie, not Alex before anyone starts feeling unwell!)

Selling the naming rights is basically what we did. By contributing large amounts of cash Cormack has effectively bought the naming rights so I don't feel that we've "missed a tick" as the mongs on Facebook are saying. The name is fine IMO. Much more important that we get the facilities and quality correct. 

The Hateful 8 was a big disappointment for me but if it's any help, my 17 year old went with her mates on the night of release and my oldest daughter went to see it in Rotterdam at the weekend and they both liked it too so there's three positive accounts albeit from the same family. I can't imagine anyone other than a moron giving it a negative. Specifically, they'll be complaining that there wasn't a beginning, middle and end, like a traditional storyline. But since when did QT follow fashion. You'll love it.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Hateful 8 although again I know of a fair few who didn't. If it's as good as that I'll be delighted.

I'd argue that he never, plenty of games where he ran around like a headless chicken, unable to make a simple pass and worst of all his tackling was way below the standard required.

I went to the cinema the earliest I'd ever been this week. 11 a.m. screening of Once upon a time in Hollywood on the day of release. Loved it. Tremendous acting by Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio.

Looking forward to seeing this one. Even though this is the first positive account of it I've heard! I know 3 people who've seen it and none of them liked it. I just can't see me not enjoying a work of Tarantino's.

Really hate the way the game is going with this.  Watched the Citeh v Spurs game at the weekend and the disallowed goal was terrible.  I get the new rule that they don't want handballs to influence goals, and that's fine as I always felt if a shot or cross was blocked by a hand then the team should be penalised whether it was intentional or not but on Saturday the hand ball played no real part in the goal. 

 

Also the fractional offside thing is a joke.  In my opinion a player should be clearly offside to be ruled as such not just a millimetre.  We used to give the benefit of the doubt to the attacking team which always seemed fair.

 

When VAR was spoken about initially the intention was to avoid blatantly bad decisions, things like mistaken identities and over the top tackles but the things it is being used for is ridiculous.  This is the worst thing that has happened to the game in years.

I believe the handball was completely unintentional but the touch off Laporte's (I think it was?) arm cushioned the ball beautifully into Jesus' path allowing him to take a touch and pick his spot. Very nicely finished it was too but to suggest the handball played no real part is just factually incorrect.

Shinnie worked his fucking arse off in every game he played in and ensured that those around him did the same. He led by example. Some obvious limitations as a player, but a very good player for us.

I agree entirely. I was never one of the Shinnie boo boys like Minijc. Oddly enough he's gone quiet after Ojo's "indifferent" start to his Dons career.

Excellent points and totally agree, you can see the difference in our midfield already with the signing of two proper footballers in Hedges and Ojo.

Ojo is a totally different player from Shinnie, he can actually pass a ball and dictate a game, SHinnie couldn't do that, my point still stands Ojo looks like more of a footballer than Shinnie ever did as a midfielder.

In my opinion, the bit about Rijeka being a worse team than us. I'd have put them better than us, and better than Hertz but probably not quite as good as the hun (this season). However, when you're in Europe, it's generally difficult to tell how good a team are going to be in comparison to your own team because of the differences between the leagues, early in the season etc. So a team like Rijeka who are at least as good as us, you would generally be quite cautious away from home and try and sneak a goal. You wouldn't go all out in case they turn out to be better than expected and you get a hoofing. You keep it tight and when they begin to get frustrated and start pushing forward more in the last half hour of the game then you catch them out with a quick break. We failed because of a total fuck up by Logan, before which they had about 1 shot on goal. I think those are acceptable tactics in a game like the Rijeka one. They failed, of course, but the decision to play like that wasn't illogical.

Fair enough Rico. But the one (shitey) effort that we had on target the whole game says to me that there was no interest in genuinely trying to sneak a goal. We were trying to sneak a 0-0 draw. We quickly saw in that game that they weren't good and an on the fly tactical change was required. In my opinion. Rijeka weren't good and we should have been more adventurous.

Shout out to Hearts whose eye-gougingly bad style of play makes us look like world beaters.
