Apparently the Forth Road Bridge being closed has caused traffic chaos doon in that neck of the woods. And earlier today it was announced that the bridge would remain shut until into next year. A massive pain in the arse but better than then the bridge collapsing and dunking some poor cunts into the Forth. The Kincardine Bridge being the only alternative (Clackmananshire Bridge also maybe?) it's likely to be rammed. How much more time should we be allowing for driving up and doon? I did think about taking the train briefly. Basically until I saw the bat shit crazy prices.

That was the proverbial game of two halves was it nae! Although we had one or two half chances in the first half we were second best and County were decent value for their lead. Niall McGinn was absolutely superb in the second half. As was Hayes. Hayes thoroughly deserved the bit of luck he got with his cross that ended up in the back of the net. I thought Foster actually did ok considering how shite he is. I don't think he lost the ball once. Lost his pace though and that was his only attribute when he was with us. That's 7 points from 9 and we're threatening to put together a wee run again. Big game on Saturday that we must win if we went to build up some momentum. Regarding the negativity... I'm all for having a moan on an internet forum. But the pricks that go to Pittodrie (and there are many of them) to seemingly constantly moan fucking get on my nerves. Wasn't aware of any of this overnight but woke up to text messages which brought this to my attention which has prompted a rare weekend visit to Donstalk to say this: An argument for guns? Don't get me wrong. I'm not pro guns by any stretch of the imagination but if the average Joe in France was packing heat those terrorists would not have had free reign to wander about firing at anything that moved. People would have fought back very quickly very possibly greatly reducing the number of people the culprits were able to kill. It's easy to shoot at folk that can't shoot back. I realise what I'm saying though. I'm not suggesting we issue everyone with a gun. That's not the answer in my opinion. Although I don't know what is admittedly. Other than the equally unrealistic un-indoctrination of all religious types. That would remove 99% of violence from the world. Fuck sake. I'm seeing that other western countries are ramping up their security. I'm due to fly over to the US tomorrow. I should be ok though because I'm white and have blue eyes.
