Hmmm, interesting the views about Maguire, lets nae forget though that he is only 20 (same age as Paton) therefore still an immature, cocky little ned.....which is probably pretty much to be expected. The boys obviously talented and this has been seen in flashes, if he can find some consistency and matures a little I reckon he could be a great player for us. He's far too young to be written off.

In different circumstances I think we need players like Kerr in the team, just not as captain and playing alongside a player like McDonald. I'd think a Nicholson type player playing alongside him would be more fruitful.

Ah, the old 3 year contract argument, in hindsight a year too long however since we were still in the UEFA cup that season, 4th in the league, in the semi of the league cup and obviously still in the scottish cup it is perhaps understandable?
