With a fit Barron, I see no need for Ronan. Vinnie can play 10 and I’m sure the geordie messi could also be back up in there. I think Watkins will go with mclennan but we have a wealth of wingers. if Ramirez goes ( which I hope he doesn’t ) we need another striker in as I’m still not convinced by miovski at this point and in my humble opinion DUK is the new Curtis main. Literally tries to run through people. I don’t even know if we really need another centre half as for me mcrorie is a limited midfielder. Great energy, poor passer, poor creativity. I’d be surprised if clarkston doesn’t play ahead of him in there once up to speed and Ross drops back.

I know we're all supposed to think miovski is brilliant but Ramirez would've had three or four from those chances so far.

I know it's early but we need the points from this to avoid starting a run of poor form. This is the marker for the season and will tell people if were contenders or strugglers. I think we should have too much for the saints without Ronan but if we don't get the points, I'd start to be concerned.

To be fair, I expected worse. Polvara is getting some stick but ramadani gets pulled out to the wing and leaves Jota with space to collect the ball and get running. Polvara should've stood him up but he'll learn. Probably still need a proper defensive midfielder. ( Not mcrorie because he struggles to pass ten yards ). Get Barron in at ten with the Geordie as competition for him and let the winners and strikers fight for their slots. At that we should be beating most of this league.

I think that Hancock has been unlucky here. He was arguably our best player on Sunday and probably earned a chance in the team. Clearly wheels were already in motion. I don't feel that we needed another LB with him and McKenzie fit

You'd happily take 3-0 against Raith at any time. Potential banana skin dealt with and you have be beer pleased at that. Not the best performance. Thought Hancock was a stand out for us. A penalty and a worldy have put use in a good position but Raith have probably had the better of the play and some lovely bits of passing IMO. Our only tactic looks to be putting the ball up the channels and using pace at this point.

Having seen Stirling play stenny a few times last year I didn't expect much of a game. Very pleasing to see is go after it and not sit on a 2 goal cushion as we may have in the past.

On bein 2 in Australia. Ten minutes in and Stewart hasn't filled me with confidence. Still don't look to have a style of play other than closing everything down and putting the ball in the corners.

I've watched him against stenny this year. Doesn't look ready for the first team.

Ramirez I've seen this week at Disneyland Paris but it was the same when del was in charge and we were struggling last year. It's not like we have half a squad called up. Might just have been a long weekend and I'm being unfair.

Does anyone else see players wandering around Europe this week and wonder why the hell they aren't training with their new manager to try and improve a poor season whilst they have time to do so ? It's not just this season though. Why is it treated like a holiday in football. Surely this would be valuable time for all clubs.
