  1. It wouldbe funny if it wasn't so fucking pathetic.
  2. You make your own luck in cup competitions. You can only beat (or not in last night's case) what's in front of you.
  3. certainly has been the past few years.
  4. He might stand a better chance of staying in and around the Scotland squad if he remains in the SPL, rather than playing League One/Championship...

  6. Just about to start 'Dear Green Place'.
  7. The BBC site reckons he's signed for Toronto FC in the MLS 'superdraft', so where that leaves AFC I don't know.
  8. I see SteveW is making a bit of a comeback over on Hat as well
  9. when did we play Queen of the South?! BRAAAP!
  10. whilst i sympathise with most of what you're saying, I can't agree on 'missing out' on John Collins. He's got much bigger things in his head than coming north, he's looking at the premiership i would imagine. Besides, if he's not happy with Hibs' backing, then what is he going to say to Milne's budget of a few old buttons to play with...
  11. Nonce Musical Express? Christ, that's terrible. It's political correctness gone mad, letting child molesters review music.
  12. or perhaps they could tune into the spirit of the day, and mutter to themselves all day about how it's a stupid, made-up day, before panicking at the last minute, and sending an office employee to the nearest garage for 20,000 bunches of half-dead flowers and some over-priced chocolate.
  13. on the plus side, we have dave 'mega' bus on trial, so it's not all bad news.
  14. don't forget Aluko is going to get his big move as soon as he leaves Aberdeen, as he's a future Engurlund international. He's gonna be a superstar baby! ... according to LondonS
  15. Terry Butcher is one game away from sack at Brentford, and totally ballsed things up in Sydney. The only thing he's done is lead Motherwell to mid-table mediocrity in a piss-poor SPL. No thanks. McGhee for me.
  16. £170 return from Glasgow skyscanner.net
  17. The UEFA Cup is returning to Vicente Calderon Stadium with the visit of Scottish side Aberdeen in the third week of the gr0up stage of this competition. Atletico de Madrid, which drew 3-3 in the first round in Moscow against Locomotiv and had a bye in the second week, now needs to earn the three points to take a firm step towards qualifying for the next stage. Club Atletico de Madrid has already put tickets on sale which are available for this match. It should be noted that Aberdeen fans will have four ticket offices available to them from which to purchase their corresponding tickets. These will go on sale on Wednesday 28 November, from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, and on match day from 11:00 until kick-off at the stadium ticket offices at Vicente Calderon.
