  1. It's taken an age to get the central defensive pairing sorted after Anderson left and now that we appear to have sorted it out, it's likely to get broken up again. I've said it before, but the Severin signing was one of the most significant in the club's hitory as it really signalled a change in direction after years of utter sh*te. Aberdeen were here before Severin arrived, and they'll be here a long time after, it's just a shame that this is happening just as things were coming good, again. If a player like Chris Clark can get a move south and land an extra couple grand a week in the hipper, I don't begrudge Severin looking for one last big contract. Severin's played a huge part in our recent performances, so I find it strange that folks are saying that it's not really a big deal. The fickle nature of Aberdeen supporters...
  2. Just watched the highlights of the United and Hearts games, how the f*ck did they both manage to win? St Mirren should've scored 4-5 in the first half and ICT had a couple of great opportunities in their game as well. Some bizarre refereeing decisions in favour of Hearts. Great strikes by Jack Ross and Doug Imrie though, cracking goals.
  3. Not necessarily true if you look at the league table. If it stays this close then you'll have the Old Firm fighting it out for the title, us, Lithuania and Dundee United fighting it out for 3rd (Hibs could still get back in this as well), and 3-4 teams fighting against relegation (Hamilton, St. Mirren, Falkirk and ICT probably). Should make the split very interesting. Seem to remember something similar happening a few years back (Rangers won the league on the last day and we beat Hearts 2-0 although Hibs pipped us for Europe)

You've either got massive tits, or they've got a small drum. Or something...

WTF the f*ck? That muppet needs shooting.
  6. Very good point well put , I guess it'd only be on rare occasions that someone was watching a game in the same way that a manager would analyse a match. However, being at a match enables you to see more movement from the players on the pitch. Clever players like Berbatov, etc. come across better at a match than they do on TV as you really can appreciate their movement, as you see them off the ball as well as on it. You sometimes miss players runs off the ball when you watch on telly, and only come to notice it when the commentator points it out.
  7. That's part of the problem, we really wanted to see less of him if you know what I mean...
  8. You were going well until you said that.
  9. Agree with that, and all you've said, although I find it hard to believe that everyone who goes to the game gives it their full attention. Both have their pro's and con's...
  10. Appeared to have major problems with fitness, Aberdeen gave him a great opportunity, which from the outside he seems to have let slip. Sad to see him go with the potential he had, but the team's done alright without him and it's fair to say that if we had a fully fit squad (yes, that includes Smith ) he would've been on the bench most weeks. Best of luck and all that...
  11. My hun mate was just in past and he's absolutely bricking it for tomorrow.
  12. Can you not see what's wrong with your quote though? The Old Firm aren't as far ahead of us as they may have been in previous years, but it's worth noting (and I've been saying this for a while) that the rest of the league is tighter than it's been in years. The points gained against the OF are being dropped elsewhere, not just by us. There's very little between the second tier (us, Hearts, Dundee Utd,) other than the strength of their squads. Hibs and Motherwell will both still feel they're in with a shout of 3rd place. If anyone can out a run together (like Hearts did earlier in the year and we're doing now) you'll climb the league rapidly.
  13. Do you mind PM'ing what I said as I really can't remember? Whatever it was, I wouldn't have done it though if he hadn't constantly referred to me personally in posts. No idea what you're referring to here?
  14. I don't know anything about him to post on here? I know nothing personal about him so struggle to see what it could have been? And even if I did, it would only be in response to him posting things about me (which to be fair to him is usually banter which doesn't cross the line into being personal).
  15. I agree with Jager/you as well about the points of internet anonymity (I for one have not hidden who I am as I've no need to) but there are those that remain anonymous outwith their boundaries, and they're also the same people who are happy to post info about other users, and I don't think that's right. The point I made was more to do with moderators posting info, I don't think that's right and it happens regularly. To use another example other than the one just posted 2-3 posts ago, a regular poster who often refers to me by name in posts sent me a PM when I did the same to them? That's beyond laughable...
  16. As I said, some choose to remain anonymous but are happy to go snooping around other folk. That's really weird, but not surprising. Wide of the mark? How exactly? You've lost me here.
  17. The internet isn't anonymous, I totally agree with that , but the point in question is that anyone on here, especially the mods, shouldn't be posting, or sharing, info about other users. If an individual on this forum wants to go to the bother of finding out who someone is, that's their perogative, but what the f*ck's a mod doing posting info like that above? That's crossing the line from just having a laugh to being a twa in my opinion. If for example, Abeerdeenbasedtim comes on and speaks out against the users, so what? I personally find what he's saying laughable as opposed to offensive, and have no care about who he is, where he's from, or what he's done in the past. There are those who take this sh*t way too seriously though, and the info Mizer posted above makes it very easy to find out who the guy is. Those that do think it's okay to post info about users shouldn't remain anonymous beyond the boundaries of their friends. Don't you think that's rather strange that they choose to do that? If you're happy to post info about other people then you should be happy to come out of your comfort zone of anonymity*. Is this guy seriously offending you that you want to know who he is? There's a few folks on here that are happy to post anything they like about anyone they want, but choose to remain anonymous to the majority of users. Says it all for me to be honest. *This is in no way aimed directly at you Jagerdeen .
  18. Ah, sorry, not anonymous in the respect that he's an unknown moderator, anonymous in the respect that the person whose info he's sharing doesn't know Mizer personally. Aye, but surely he shouldn't be sharing any private info, no matter how little?!? I could be wrong, but it just seems a bit strange. He's like that though.

You'll need more sleeping pills next time Jager.
  20. Just out of curiousity Mizer, when'd you start supporting Aberdeen, and why? Off topic again - should the 'anonymous' mods really be sharing private info about users on this site? Regardless of how much a clueless wank this 'Abeerdeenbasedtim' is , I don't agree that his private info should be shared by so-called moderators.
