Oh not a chance, it was way worse under Alex Miller
-
Well enough that hibs fans still think of him fondly though, I concede, the airplane celebration may play a part in that.
-
The only one on the list that has actually impressed me in recent times (lennon did well with hibs 2bf) with his managerial ability is Martindale. Not advocating him by any stretch but he has done brilliant things at livi. So hard to beat and he has them playing decent football too. If it wasn't for his drug dealing past he would have moved on to bigger and better things by now for sure.
-
If he was getting binned it would have happened by now.
-
And he's a cunt. No thanks

Just looking to get a feel for how how we are all feeling about whether we should keep the manager. For me, yes and for the following reasons. 1. It's too soon for me, especially since we pulled the trigger pretty early on glass. Constantly changing your manager reduces the standard of applicant. Also you just need to look at arsenal to see the potential benefits of patience. 2. I know last night was awful (well, first half was awful at the back but I thought we were good going forward. I watched it with a jambo and when it went 3-0 he was a confused as I was as to how were even losing let alone by 3) but on Sunday we were the exact opposite. We really looked a proper team with an identity and a heartbeat for the first time in a long time.

Nah, hearts aren't bang average. They have become a pretty well rounded team now and this is going to be a really fucking tough game. I agree we should be looking to press them though, sitting in isn't an option given our defensive woes and if we are to get anything we have to be dominant in midfield. That isn't out with the realms of possibility with rama and Shinnie in our ranks. If they both have a good game we have a great chance to get something out of this. I wouldn't be playing Kennedy at rb though. He's been so good lately and we need him further forward. 2bh I think it will be Richardson at rb...... Goodwin was very vague re injuries in his presser (and who can blame him) but he did suggest Lewis might be playing. I think it will be Lewis Richardson, Mcrorie, scales/McKenzie, coulson Ramadani, shinnie Kennedy, barron/Clarkson, hayes Miovski In all honesty I would snap your hand of for a point right now but I do think the team above is capable of a win. Despite the disappointment of the result on Sunday it was hard not to feel good about the team. We really looked like a team for a start and even after the sending off no quarter was asked nor given. Shinnie is key to this i believe. I don't care who is wearing the armband he's the biggest leader we have on the pitch and players know it. Regardless of the result tonight I think we are going to have a pretty good second half to the season. We really just need a defender (though I wouldn't be pissed off with 2) and a striker in to my eye.

https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/woogdate-hayden-coulson-middlesbrough-future-26000863 Interesting read on Coulson. My feeling is he will sign a new deal with them if they don't get promoted, if they do he/boro will probably part ways. Even in this scenario I don't see him being with us next season. Most likely he will go to the Championship but I wouldn't be that surprised if the huns or the tims went for him cos they are both lacking at LB and they must have noticed him by now.
-
It seems to me that it has got a lot worse post the break with stuff being ignored to the benefit of those two.
-
Sore ones but there's ways to lose a game, can't fault the attitude after the red 2bf.
-
Jesus wept, Stewart had had a decent game up to that too. That would have been a straight red twenty years ago ffs
-
Done deal it would seem, modest fee involved apparently
-
Resign Taylor maybe?
-
Agreed, and I think it has to be a target man. It's the most bang for buck choice to my eye giving at least 2 new tactical options we don't currently have.
-
The kid would be far better going to a more technical league. Spain or Portugal would be where I would be advising him if I was his agent.
-
Oh for sure, I'm not saying I think he's a good ref but I don't think he's corrupt. Just incompetent. If he was, he would have given that.
-
You say that Al but the last time we played them in a cup semi (fergie header game) Beaton was ref. Not only that, after we had gone 1 up I remember morelos going down in the box. From the other end of the park it didn't look the worst claim in the world either and Beaton waved play on. I would have Beaton over Walsh any day of the week 2bh
-
Certainly not heard of us offering him a deal and he's defo put himself in the shop window down there now.
-
He's OOC at the end of the season is he not?
-
Miovski will be fine, he's getting into the right positions and just needs a goal. It will come. I was only able to watch the extended highlights on rtv so I can't comment greatly on overall game but on chances created looked well worth the win. I wasn't looking forward to this one either as it's not like St J haven't been a bogey team in the past. Defo would have taken uninspiring 1-0 win with a late sclaffed goal off Consi's shin wrongfoots the keeper. Onto der hun...

Bloody Hell! That's a lovely thing you did Lee, all the power to you . I'm glad you have found something to inspire you, and thus inspire others too, I mind you posting recently at feeling a bit detached from the dons these days.
-
Surely someone is going, either barron or Clarkson. Defo pleased to get shinnie in, suspect Mcrorie is now our default rb (we seriously just need to pick a position and stick with it with him). It will be interesting to see if there have been any technical improvements to his game but there's no doubt in my mind we are going to start winning more midfield battles with shinnie in the team. Prior to his leaving it was really only brown that could put him in his place. Not seeing a standout candidate in the league to do so now. I think Stewart could benefit from this as well, takes a bit of the leadership pressure off him. That's no bad thing either, you want leaders all over the park. Still want a cb but other than that I think we are reasonable shape for the 2nd half of the season. What a difference a day makes....
