Can we have a whip round and get a decent commentator add a voice over?
-
Right what I wanted to post when McTom distracted me No match thread has had me discomfited so I did think to myself Swaddon must be going tonto Again (brewbrouhaha aside) appreciate how weāve been welcomed(tolerated ) here
-
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssss Oops wrong thread but FFS look at that goal

And just like that cloudflare is brought down taking out AbMad and half the internet da mess with some of the AbMad inabooters has mondo made it over yet? I detect his work

Right scrap everything Iāve just said - just watched the interview and heās won me over. Unfair to let my misgivings about Daveās judgement cloud him personally. Came over really, really well. Iām a bit in thrall mysel
-
Maybe expressed myself poorly there - I agree a big personality could be just what we and JT in particular need. Just concerned it was his force of personality that won Dave over as opposed to his credentials, similar to the gobshite Warnock. Iām just still burned by that guddle.

Maybe I just wasnāt in the mood as I couldnāt get past first 20 minutes but others have also raved about it to me so Iāll have to give it another go. I usually enjoy most of Wainwrightās stuff. Just started and enjoying Down Cemetery Road (Apple TV, although available elsewhere ) from both the writer and scriptwriter of Slow Horses. Itās akin to it with a similar funny OTT feel and maybe Killing Eve with OTT characters and performances with several big name actors chewing scenery entertainingly. What grounds and elevates it though is Ruth Wilson. Sheās playing it straight and is outstanding. Only ever seen her in The Affair and didnāt even realise she was English. Itās not just her accent, her entire vocal range is different. Emma Thompson (also good) seems to be getting the headlines but itās Wilson who has blown me away. Only two eps in but hugely enjoyable.

Not watched it yet (thanks for heads up) but having read his autobiography (book review available on Mad ) Iād say weāre guaranteed at least interesting. Huge personality which worries me after Dave being in thrall to Warnock but he may be a good foil for Jimmy. Iām just concerned by said contacts. Without sounding all Reform-ish I want a pathway for our own youth not a model to develop players from every corner of the earth. Given both Dave and Jimmy have previously stated this is a priority I hope itās proven Iām worrying needlessly. Itās going to take time though. The club have been quite clever in their marketing of Jimmy as a three year project and I think itās afforded JT more leeway/time than previous incumbents. As a fan base we also need to give Lutz time to turn our pitiful youth pathway around too. I think heāll get it if we see young players get chance but its unfortunate heās coming in when we are where we are. All the best to him, heāll need itā¦

See that red haired man? Tells the weather on Anglia TV. And thereās a pair of script writers. And see the tall languid radge? Played for the famous.

His 17th senior club. I understand why he fools so many recruiters because sometimes he did things that surprised you. The nonchalant skill, his physique. There was the occasional appearance where you thought aye heās got something. I did enjoy watching him at times, he was different. But of course more often there were times when I would have been hard pressed not to slap him if I met him after a game. What an infuriating waste of his own talents he was. National league. Silly man.

Not that wellā¦. EE saying weāre getting him back now the Finnish season has ended.
-
Lost momentum we had. BGD was actually effective at the point he was taken off. That was utter shite again tonight.

3-2 down in the last minute and Gordon getting told to get back Clarke in a ruddy nutshell
-
ānot sure thatās a yellow, never mind a second yellowā no such thing Faddy
-
Soutar and Hanley. Shocker. Clarke yer an arse
-
And fat. Fat, useless, farmyard animal shagging, hun cunt. Pathetic we still have several overweight players in the national team.

I was spluttering at Miller saying he was just enjoying kicking āthe sphereā again Iāll overlook it as he was great tonight. A player I felt never really got his full due at the time for us. What we would give to have him now
-
No idea who Celtic goalie was or the butter ba up front for them? Not sure he even touched the ball until their final game. A lot of the Glaswegian teamsā players were an absolute mess.

And was the only one apparently to have a right go at TWatt after Rubyās red. Put him on his arse and told him to stay down. Iād be disappointed to see him leave but heās obviously out of favour. Canāt grudge him a move but itās a black mark against Thelin IMO. I thought when JT was still playing the 2 at back end of last season that him and Palaversa were the best of a bad bunch pairing wise and I donāt rate Palaversa in the slightest.

Oh and Mulgrew is still an absolute Grade A FUD
