He’d probably be a decent battering ram in lower league Englandshire. Was never going to turn out to be Ronaldo or even Tommy Wright but wonder how different it might have been if we’d had a proper summer recruitment window. Didn’t have to throw him in from the start every week cos we’d no bugger else. He could have been dropped and eased in rather than become the focus because he was all there was. Treatment of him by many was OTT. Summer window (including mysterious lack of warm up matches) really was a shit show. Hope to hell new regime is better.
