I think we are getting to a better place now. We just seem a more organised group, playing to the managers instructions. Not saying we are perfect, but we just seem a bit more cohesive and heading in the right direction as a team. I'm really glad we stuck with Thelin, when a lot of us were thinking he was a goner and with good reason to be fair. We've all had our doubts about Jimmy, but I've always felt he speaks so well and you could see he was frustrated as the rest of us after most of the early season shyte we were served up. Is it the reason some player's aren't getting a look in. Long may it continue. Saturday nights are much better when Aberdeen have played and won. Away out to see The Skids soon, so enjoy your evening fellow dandies.

The Aberdeen end at Dens park is having a fair old bounce. Brilliant to see.

Aouchiche was poor on Wednesday night, just didn't happen for him. What a way for him to bounce back though. Nisbet getting a cracker, to get him off the mark, can only help our confidence.
-
Listening to God on the BBC and he was speaking when the Nisbet goal went in. He was fair loving that.

Was away out and just back in. I was sure this was an evening kick off and saw the score flash up on the BBC Winning though, that's all that matters. COYR

Of course you will. You're the forums very own Sandy Jensen.

I've noticed Swaddon has went AWOL. I hope he hasn't taken the hump at not starting the official match thread.

You say defence, I say our central midfielders have to do more to protect our defence. They all press up looking to score and a quick upfield punt, usually catches us with our pants down at the other end. Criminal how many times we have witnessed it under Thelin. We'll get there though, that I am sure of. Fitba on a Saturday though, happy days. COYR

THE OFFICIAL: "LET'S ALL LAUGH AT HEARTS"

Please tell me that is made up? Feel a little sick seeing that. -
You would have loved the collection. I suspect you would have had a lot of common ground in musical tastes. That's why he gave me stuff, to educate me, even though I rarely liked much of them. Be Bop Deluxe being a notable exception, I loved them. Thin Lizzy too, even though I'm not a rock music lover. The thing about him, was that although he had an enormous collection, he wasn't precious about his records He'd remove records or discs from their players and not put them back in their case, just leave them lying about, which is a huge no for me. My Sons have nearly been dropped off at Bernardo's for doing that shit with my music.

I've never streamed music. Might listen to something on YouTube at a push, but that's about it. I listen to radio a lot and if I like something I buy it in physical form, much to my Wifes annoyance, as running out of shelves to put everything. To be fair, she has splashed out on a new hifi system for my Xmas, so she can't be overly bothered. I also still use an iPod for listening to music on when out on my walks.

To kill fans enjoyment at games. Maybe it is why they are softening their approach to alcohol at games. Get the majority bladdered and they wont give a flock how long the decisions take.

Gavin Malloy did a ligament in his knee, when he came on and is out for 6-8 weeks. A guy beside us was shouting for him to get on with it and stop being a fanny. I'd be a fanny too if I did a ligament in my knee.

Aye, on loan from Swansea.

I was actually quite impressed with Dundee when they played us up here in September. Thought they tried to pass the ball about and play a bit of football, but just lacked the quality and experience and we were able to exploit it. Thought the scoreline flattered us a bit that day, but I wasn't complaining. I work with three Dundee supporters and they are actually quite sound. None of them are overly impressed with Pressley though, but I think they are more frustrated with their owners than the actual team and none of them wanted Tony D gone.

Gingerism - That's a new one on me. He's nae quite up with Davie Dodds in levels of ugliness and he's a pain in the arse on the pitch, so I would take it as a compliment if I were him. I wouldn't have minded him here. Could we find better, probably if we looked hard enough, but he would probably have worked in Thelins one up front role.

VAR hasn't cut out the mistakes that it was meant to, so by that metric alone, it has failed. Factor in the sheer nonsense of the time it takes to make a decision, which sucks all enjoyment out of the games, then it has been an unmitigated disaster. Outwith what we see in games involving either of the cheeks, I think mistakes by refs were part of the game and usually evened themselves out over a season. For me, VAR can get to fuck and when it reaches its destination, it can fuck right off again.

Not as big a name here as he was in the States, where he was huge. Worked with a guy years ago who was a big fan of his music and tried to get me into him and other stuff like Styx, Boston and REO Speedwagon, but just not ever been my thing. The guy I worked with, I don't think I'll ever see a record collection like that again. Thousands upon thousands of LPs, Singles, CDs, Tapes and even Eight Tracks (I shit you not). Dressed like a tramp and had no other interests, bar his music. He was married with two kids, but his music still came first. He counted everything by the value of records. If he went out for a drink, each pint was the price of a single. If he bought a round, it was an album. Needless to say, he didn't go out much. When Fopp opened years ago and started selling CDs at about £5, the collection got even bigger. I discovered last year that he died around 2017, aged just 62. Would love to know what happened to his collection. Remembering his Wife, there was a good chance she burnt them. He gave me, amongst other records, the first four Led Zeppelin albums, when I was 16. All originals, one of them is supposedly quite a rare edition. Never played them as have never been my cup of tea. The only album he ever gave me that I liked, was the 49p tapes by Faust, because I like all that experimental shyte (his words). All that brought on by the Peter Framton post by Al.

The first two albums by German group Neu! were given an outing today. Sounded excellent. First time I'd listened to them in a while

I don't think we are going on another bad run, we have shown we will change tactics now instead of blindly doing the same shit, game after game, like we did last season. It was disappointing to only get a point last night, but we didn't play too badly.
