  1. I like Sokler, but if Jimmy had faith in him, he wouldn't have put him on loan in the first place. Also, would you want to come back to the club after being told after you were behind Yengi for game time. As I repeatedly say, no striker is scoring goals in our current set up. They would just be another player for the boo boys to howl at the moon over.
  2. Don't need to go to Falkirk for that shit. I encountered it outside the Patio Hotel back in September and all in the quest for a tub of cottage cheese. A couple of dandies I know were taking part in the spouting of bile. Gadz! Anyways, back on topic. Hurtling into the 3rd of January and nae signings. sACK tHE bOARD!
  3. Was at the pictures today, seeing a film call Marty Supreme Story about an American Table Tennis champion and based on a true story. Wasn't a bad film, but would have preferred to watch at home instead of going to the pictures to see it. It was set in the 1950s, but the music used throughout was all 1980s. I don't personally see the point of doing that.
  4. They did, but I wasn't overly impressed with them. The individual class of their players was evident, but expected more from them as a team. Strasbourg are owned by the same lot that own Chelsea, so possibly some sort of shyte going on with them. If I was a Chelsea fan, and thank goodness I'm not, I wouldn't be overly chuffed about appointing a sacked Derby and Hull manager. Those kind of appointments rarely work out.
  5. Armstrong has been very poor the past few games. 33 years old who didn't play much football the past few seasons, may now be feeling it. Have no issue with Marshall coming back to try at that role, but Clarkson could play that role too, but well out of the picture. Our team is in a strange place at the moment.
  6. Love having a read through of the On This Day, section on the Heritage Trust site. What caught my eye today was the game on the 2nd January 2003, against the Victims. This game kicked off our centenary year and we got a credible draw against a good Victim side and from my memory, we played very well that day and should have won. I remember the game well and still have my match programme and other stuff relating to our centenary year. A crowd of just over 16k and over 3k, were victim fans. Credit to the club for at least getting more fans through the turnstiles nowadays, even if the on field product doesn't match fan enthusiasm.
  7. Strasbourg Manager, Leroy Rosenior, is favourite for the job. I'd say that is a huge step up for him. I didn't think Strasbourg looked that good against us last month.
  8. The Rolling Stones - Street Fighting Man
  9. Squeeze - Hourglass
  10. Happy New Year to everyone. Just to make us all feel our age a little more, an article on the P&J site, about this being the 40th year since Fergie left the Dons for Manure. 40 years...Yikes.
  11. Had my first ever Walnut Whip last night, very enjoyable. No chocolate snob by any means and still like a bar of Cadbury chocolate, but undoubtedly went downhill since the yanks got involved in them. A Penguin biscuit can't be classed as a chocolate biscuit anymore, due to lacking the required level of cocoa in them. Same with a club biscuit. I think that rule will be applied to a well known chocolate bar, soon enough.
  12. I went to the game up here against them, thinking an easy three points for us, but was Impressed with them and how they played. This surely has to be a must win game for us, as in managers job at least starts to be questioned, if we don't win, coupled with another abject performance.
  13. U2 - With or Without You
  14. Maybe ditching Jimmy and letting our new DoF do his thing, whilst having, what is supposed to be the correct structure at the club in place, might make a difference this time. I'd happily see Cormack out of the club today, but he isn't going anywhere soon, as nobody appears interested in taking over from him and if their was, it would likely be in the form of another American businessman and I don't think are good for our game. I don't think Jimmy is going just yet, due to this three year project pish, so have to hope he turns it around and very quickly.
  15. Lots of clubs will be watching him, not just on these shores. A person would have to be a real dumb, bitter person not to be commending the job he has done at Motherwell. He has won nothing, before some smart c*nt points it out, but the way he has consistently got players to respond and perform to his system has been very impressive up until now. Getting Paul McGinn to perform for them the way he has done this season, is impressive enough, but he has done this with the whole squad, exactly what a manager should be doing. We keep deluding ourselves we are going to buy our way to a good team. As much as the boy at Motherwell has been impressive, it is still a no from me, as I just have a feeling we would take what looks like a silk purse of a manager (at the moment), and turn it into a pigs ear.
  16. Our form/results isn't solely down to individuals and fuck ups. It just stinks. We've seen us shyte before over the years, many times, but this three year 'project' shyte seems to have brainwashed us into accepting this. Then I remember that Lutz is going to make it all good.
  17. Shinnie surely can't be 5' 9"? I remember standing next to him one day and he seemed about 5' 5".
  18. Aye, was breathing out his arse on Saturday. His gametime needs managed.
  19. Motherwell supposedly outplaying Celtic all over the park, in the first half tonight.
  20. Kettlewell is just a bat shit crazy appointment for County. It may stabilise them for a while, but we know how it ends. Makes me want Jimmy Thelin to work out more, just to keep sticking up two fingers to our piss poor media, who cheerlead the same shyte for the same jobs.
  21. Kettlewell the new favourite to take over up at Ross County! Mind boggling if true.
  22. Dexys Midnight Runners - There, There My Dear
  23. I don't think you need to be built like a brick shithoose for the role, you just have to be good at it. In my opinion, Dante seems to struggle with the pace of the game in that role. I like the loon a lot, but I don't think he is suited to the fast pace of the Scottish game.
  24. We usually shoot ourselves in the foot, by making the same mistakes over and over. It's like Groundhog day watching us. That aside, I still think Hibs are more than beatable and are as Jekyll and Hyde as us.
  25. The Stranglers - No More Heroes
