  1. Doesn't look right to me. I think the 3rd column is "Goals every x games"? i.e. Zander scores every 8 games?
  2. Aye but the WPR should be finished by the time the stadium is ready. Thats bound to be one of the main reasons they are looking at Cove.
  3. Hmmm, that's called tapping up isn't it?
  4. Not that I want him to stay but why would Clark be leaving the club? Surely he'd be one of the easiest to deal with?
  5. We're doomed if that's true. Nay fussed about Clark and Lovell but we really need to keep the rest, even Seve who on his day is a top notch player (its just been a while since it was "his day"). Surprised if Hart goes.
  6. Doesn't matter where we move to, there is always going to be some folk unhappy. Staying in the beach area would have met some sort of resistance too. As a golfer, I certainly wouldn't have been happy if the Kings Links was to be removed, although as someone said it was perhaps the driving range and cricket pitch that were in doubt. And everybody knows cricket is not a sport! Anyway, I am prepared to see exactly what the plans are including transport "lonks". Slating it before any real plans are in place is a bit foolish IMHO.
  7. Q's 1. Where do you travel from? 2. How do you get there/back? 3. What do you usually do before/after the game? 4. Preferred location? A's 1. City Centre 2. Walk 3. Drink a couple pints before / usually go home after 4. Mike Dunbar's back garden
  8. http://www.scotland.gov.uk/News/Releases/2005/06/10143649 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aberdeen_Crossrail Not been talked about for a couple of years, but notice they were talking about extra stops on the Stonehaven route so who knows, this might all be back up for discussion again.
  9. They are talking about it, but it was in the opposite direction from Cove. Perhaps they will include the community stadium in future discussions about this.
  10. I expect attendances to go up. They normally do when a new stadium is built. Yes, its going to be a bit awkward for city centre fans to get to but as Slim says, by the time its built the infrastructure should be in place to make it easier. I can definitely see more people with cars wanting to go to the new stadium, because it will be easier to get to, and to park at. Plenty of time to put some bars/restaurants nearby as well. Just think its a pity the train line is on the other side of Cove. But on the whole the announcement is a very positive one. Hope we see the new stadium and AWPR as promised!
  11. If its anything like Inverness, pubs will put on free buses to take you to/from games in order to get you to drink in their pubs before and after games.
  12. A good 4-5 years to build some pubs and decent transport links from the city centre!
  13. I tend to agree with JC's assessment of Miller's performance on Saturday.
  14. EDIT: Duncan Fraser answered these questions.
  15. Where the fuck are these fans when we're playing Hibs and Killie?
  16. ONLY 200 TICKETS LEFT FOR DONS' UEFA CLASH 12:00 - 12 December 2007 The final 200 tickets for Aberdeen's UEFA Cup clash with FC Copenhagen are on sale today. They were expected to be snapped up by close of business to guarantee a capacity 21,000 crowd for the Pittodrie clash, which takes place a week on Thursday. All tickets for the Richard Donald and South Stands have been sold. The few that are left are for the Merkland Stand and restricted view seats in the Main Stand. Copenhagen have also been allocated 500 tickets for their supporters who will be housed in Section A of the Main Stand.
