Lucky in that there is still a European spot available for the cup runners up, but not lucky in the way we'll have reached the final (if we do indeed reach the final). Beating Celtic in the cup was one of the highlights of the season. Some good points but I don't think we're missing Hart or Clark. Nicholson and Miller will be much bigger losses. Given the track record of Pittodrie's medical staff this season, 6 weeks means he'll be out for 10 days.

Last year we were 3rd but nowhere in the cups (which some rightly criticised JC for), this year looks like being the opposite. I'll take a cup final and qualifying for Europe again over a top 6 finish. A cup win would be a big achievement, but if its against the huns then it'll be a huge challenge. Its very disappointing if we don't finish in the top 6 but the trips to Europe and potential cup final will have made it up for me personally. Next season a good league run and a good cup run(s) would be nice, but we'll need a bigger squad with more depth. Up until Saturday, we seemed to be playing better after having been knocked out of Europe.

I'm surprised Mair started instead of Bus. Bus looks a more composed defender.

Poor game today. The line up and tactics seemed fine but just didn't get going and I'm struggling to think of any chances we created. Defence looked a little shaky, and Mair had a Mare apart from his goal. Hardly anybody had a decent game, they were all mince. Foster needs a run in the reserves. Maybury wasn't great today but I happen to think he's a better defender than Hart.

We're really needing Hearts to get at least a draw against Falkirk tomorrow. We can't afford Falkirk to win their next two games, as if we win our next two games, we could have one Bobby Moore of a goal difference to claw back when we play them.
