  1. Aye, buts its nae him Reekie, as this guy is listed as a trialist and playing up front with Lovell
  2. 2-1 at half time, Young the 1st, Lovell got the 2nd. Strong Aberdeen team out including Clangers, Foster, Maguire, Lovell, Touzani, Kurrant. Apparently Derek Young strolling through the game in midfield . In the words of my source at the game, big lanky looking guy up front who is blowing oot o' his erse he looks so unfit [ presumably Jonathon Smith ? ]
  3. Guys, I refer you back to my original response in this thread. Anyway good to see some well kent names starting to reappear over here. I personally still pay many a visit to "Hat" but frankly more for entertainment than for the purpose of posting, as soon as you say BLACK, someone rams WHITE down your throat. I've seen the day I'd have responded, but guess just getting a little too old to be bothered with it all
  4. Its not a case of disagreeing with you GS, but more a case of hanging to the hope that on one of these occasions, we just might unearth a decent player
  5. See the Lithuanain State Circus have today been fined £20k for their poor disciplinary record last season. Think it was something like nine reds and ninety yellows or something, inspite of previously having been told to clean up their act.
  6. C'mon GS gie the lad a chance
  7. the usual Hat fuckwits are in overdrive these days
  8. Might be wrong in saying this, but I beleive that unsold tickets for away games go back down on the team bus on the Sat, and can normally be purchased after 2pm at the relevant ticket office
  9. Still nothing official then Mmmm I wonder
  10. Hope thats not a huge golf ball I can see at the top right hand side of the second photo Seriously though, well done guys for creating some atmosphere
  11. okey dokey buddy.... guess we'll find out soon enough then
  12. EX-PAR CAN HELP BAMBA TO SWAN OFF SOL BAMBA has revealed former Pars team-mate Dorus De Vries is trying to win him a move to Swansea City. The Welsh outfit watched Dunfermline stopper Bamba impress in the midweek UEFA Cup tie with Hacken. Keeper De Vries left East End Park to join the League One outfit this summer. And Bamba said: "Dorus phoned me to say Swansea were looking for a centre-half and he'd mentioned my name to them."
  13. Mizer....... cannae believe you are using Stoney as your source
  14. Lee, dinnae think its a good idea to post your name, address, and mobile number on a public forum mate, so I've edited it out for you. This is the best Don's site for sensible discussion on all matters AFC, so welcome on board. If any of the guys you refer to are regulars on here, I'm sure they respond to you via the PM function, so fear not because of me removing your personal details from this post. Stand Free
  15. Superb
  16. "Football for fans not corporates" RU making a demonstration over some of the pish Pittodrie have been coming out with lately making excuses for banning the displays (which they seem quite happy to use pics of in their own ad material you'll notice) Cheers, thought it was something along those lines
  17. What was the big banner right down the front ? Something about corporates and supporters or along those lines.
  18. Positively gutted.
  19. Yep pleased for Foster. Certainly wasn't among many peoples picks for a starting berth at the start of last season, but he really came on to a game as the season went on, and won over most of the boo boys along the way. Big test now having set the standard in that he not only needs to maintain that level but indeed develop further. If he succeeds he really could turn out to be an asset to AFC. Good luck Ricky
  20. and did he have anything to do then ?
  21. Mmmmm thought this might of been an ideal game for Derek Young to get among the goals, but apparently not then
  22. Inverurie Locos 0 Aberdeen 3 Maguire (14, 31), Kurrant (25)
  23. Dons one up in fourteen minutes, Maguire the scorer
  24. Can't imagine it is a "big" name keeper if he isn't even getting a start as a trialist
  25. This whole trip to Egypt just keeps getting better and better
