  1. Playing at home Over 70% possession Zero goals Opposition play three punts forward over the top have three shots on target and score three times Problems, up front and at the back Nae real surprise there . Worryingly, this is increasingly becoming Jimmy Thelin's team The acceptable excuses are fast becoming a thing of the past.
  2. The BBC report was by Billy Dodds who reported at both half time and full time by saying Keskinen on our left hand side was our most dangerous player. Surely that in itself is grounds to totally disregard anything he has to say
  3. Butland's face, the same colour as his hand (red) Think about it lads
  4. Never have I ever more hoped for a Man U victory than tonight. See the dog fiddler starts for The Huns. Obviously not planning having a go and wanting to choke the game
  5. In fairness Rico I was merely thinking along the lines that our support face getting to Glasgow for a 12.30 kick off on a Sunday. Hope what you say is correct, the tie deserves a decent away support
  6. I think that is fucking shocking Given the extra significance this occasion has taken on, then surely we should have been given the Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon slot. I particularly feel sorry for Pars fans having to travel at the time they will have to Not an expert on public transport from Dunfermline to Aberdeen but would imagine that isn't going to work timing wise.
  7. Two goals in THIRTY appearances. Makes our other forward options look almost prolific
  8. If that fails, I wonder what the guy Klinsmann is up to these days
  9. Exactly what I was thinking earlier this morning. Not even had a decent rumour
  10. I think that is a massively appropriate draw Will be a day to remember Jimmy
  11. Watched that with tears in my eyes. I come back to my opening post on this thread Thanks for the memories
  12. Personally I agree, totally fail to see what these games will achieve. Players literally don't get any close season at all nowadays. Think this is completely unnecessary.
  13. The crux of the matter for me is at what exact point is that still taken. Is it as soon as he gathers the ball or a second after by which point he has pulled the ball back onto the line. Not sure anyone really has the definitive answer on this occasion. Some you win, some you lose Potentially harsh on Elgin, but we haven't exactly been getting those breaks over the past couple of months.
  14. 69 is no age nowadays. Thanks for the memories and particularly the trips to Madrid & Munich
  15. Genuinely thought that at the time as well.
  16. You'll be cursing me if it all goes wrong and you hit the drink as a result
  17. In further good news it has been confirmed that there will be a single camera coverage of the game available on Red TV tomorrow
  18. Welcome back Pape Gueye
  19. Language Timothy
  20. Trust me Rico, he is
  21. I was at the Aberdeen v Man Utd friendly in 1972 hoping to see Denis play but unfortunately he didn't play. The only Scot that comes close to Law is Kenny Dalglish and even then he is a distant second. Folks, trust me, that's how good the Law Man really was
  22. I know he never played for us BUT he was an Aberdeen loon Seriously sad news to report, Denis has passed away today aged 84 The greatest footballer to come out of the Granite City I am so blessed to remember seeing him play RIP Denis
  23. Reported this morning that an offer of £200m would bring Newcastle to the negotiating table regarding Isak Dig deep Davie, dig very very deep min
  24. Absolutely, should have been clearer in that don't think we're finished over and above the much needed striker.
  25. Looking like you were right on this one TLG but our transfer business is far from finished allegedly
