  1. I'd actually let him away with Hamilton, as the boy has played for Scotland at every age group since fifteen. Can't say personally that he looked that fantastic when I saw him, but guess he is going along for the ride to pick up experience and guess it is a department we need to plan for the future. McGregor now at Fleetwood Town I believe, Gordon hasn't looked too clever so far this season which leaves Marshall. Could be between the boy Hamilton if he develops and Bain to become the regular third keeper in future squads.
  2. I gave up caring many years ago, even before the current useless cunt known as Strachan got the gig. Led to many an argument with my younger son, but even he has got to the stage where he barely watches a Scotland game. Strachan, is a stubborn little man with major attitude and a "fuck you" manner. Totally incapable of seeing his glaring mistakes and inadequacies, trying to pass it all off with his own personal brand of humour which I would suspect many of us stopped finding remotely funny a long time ago. His scathing comments re our domestic game just said it all to me. Will forever continue to be an integral part of our club's greatest ever team, but on a personal basis a complete cock of a human being
  3. If anyone actually gives a flying fuck about this, then here's the squad The Scottish Football Association has announced the Scotland squad for the game in Malta at the start of September. 4. Lescott fails medical @ NewCo. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37132034
  5. First part is absolute pish. Second part I'll give you.
  6. In that case accept my apology for my cynicism
  7. Mmmm first heard about this alleged incident involving MacLean & Storie on Monday. Here we are days later and bizarrely not a single shred of evidence has made it onto social media, which I find more than a little surprising in this day and age. I take it you were there and witnessed it first hand or you have evidence that you can share ?
  8. PlLaying devils advocate here and not wishing to come across of being a Wiggy lover BUT how do any of you know that the money that was apparently there for Tansey deal in January hasn't already been spent A playing budget covers not only transfer fees but the playing squad wages. Given we have recruited from down south this summer, what kind of wages have we had to offer ? Just saying like
  9. Should have been O'Connor by a proverbial mile
  10. Going to disagree on two points Jute. Firstly although I would agree that for the bulk of the game we never looked like losing, the chance that Watt ballooned over the bar five minutes from time could well have cost us the game. On the point about only one positive from the game I will give you another, namely Anthony O'Connor, head and shoulders our best player on the park. Flatly refused to panic under pressure and his timing in the tackle is first class. Think we might just have got ourselves a player there
  11. Stewart to Birmingham confirmed. £500k apparently. A fair bit below the price Hartley was spouting off about.
  12. Is the date "fixed" for when you get your round or is it open ended ?
  13. Time to bump this one up as no posts on it for some considerable time Is no one reading these days Nomad was ok, but not a patch on I Am Pilgrim Currently reading "The Great Game On Secret Service In High Asia" by Peter Hopkirk Anyone interested in history will enjoy this. Despite studying history at school this covers a period in time which was never really touched upon during the syllabus. Anyone else got any recommendations ?
  14. Second game attending in four days In A90 South Stand A96 to visit family 2-1 (Rooney & Burns)
  15. Katherine Grainger. Fantastic achievement
  16. Oh dear Al....... Memo to self. Read the post twice before replying. At least I can blame it on my year of birth
  17. Good bit of business for Killie
  18. Going to disagree mate. Personally think they will descend on Dens in their hordes. Almost feel sorry for the citizens of that city.
  19. Failure to convert chances led to that being a lot more nervy than necessary. On another night as Ryan Stevenson said on Radio Scotland we could have scored seven or eight in the first half alone. Major pluses were Burns and O'Connor. End of the day, job done and in the last eight.
  20. Fucking unbelievable that this is 2-1. Have had total dominance without taking the chances. Hope McInnes doesn't decide to manage the game out
  21. In Work Away end Home 3.0 Shockley, Storey & Logan
  22. Thought he looked competent without being a stand out. Would imagine he will keep his place at Ayr on Wednesday evening, although l reckon Taylor will be back in on Saturday to combat Hearts height and physical presence
  23. New bid of £100k submitted for Big Josh.
  24. Worth pointing out if Frank's career hadn't been prematurely cut short at age 28 I shudder to think just how many goals he could have signed of scored for us.
