  1. Going to disagree on two points Jute. Firstly although I would agree that for the bulk of the game we never looked like losing, the chance that Watt ballooned over the bar five minutes from time could well have cost us the game. On the point about only one positive from the game I will give you another, namely Anthony O'Connor, head and shoulders our best player on the park. Flatly refused to panic under pressure and his timing in the tackle is first class. Think we might just have got ourselves a player there
  2. Stewart to Birmingham confirmed. £500k apparently. A fair bit below the price Hartley was spouting off about.
  3. Is the date "fixed" for when you get your round or is it open ended ?
  4. Time to bump this one up as no posts on it for some considerable time Is no one reading these days Nomad was ok, but not a patch on I Am Pilgrim Currently reading "The Great Game On Secret Service In High Asia" by Peter Hopkirk Anyone interested in history will enjoy this. Despite studying history at school this covers a period in time which was never really touched upon during the syllabus. Anyone else got any recommendations ?
  5. Second game attending in four days In A90 South Stand A96 to visit family 2-1 (Rooney & Burns)
  6. Katherine Grainger. Fantastic achievement
  7. Oh dear Al....... Memo to self. Read the post twice before replying. At least I can blame it on my year of birth
  8. Good bit of business for Killie
  9. Going to disagree mate. Personally think they will descend on Dens in their hordes. Almost feel sorry for the citizens of that city.
  10. Failure to convert chances led to that being a lot more nervy than necessary. On another night as Ryan Stevenson said on Radio Scotland we could have scored seven or eight in the first half alone. Major pluses were Burns and O'Connor. End of the day, job done and in the last eight.
  11. Fucking unbelievable that this is 2-1. Have had total dominance without taking the chances. Hope McInnes doesn't decide to manage the game out
  12. In Work Away end Home 3.0 Shockley, Storey & Logan
  13. Thought he looked competent without being a stand out. Would imagine he will keep his place at Ayr on Wednesday evening, although l reckon Taylor will be back in on Saturday to combat Hearts height and physical presence
  14. New bid of £100k submitted for Big Josh.
  15. Worth pointing out if Frank's career hadn't been prematurely cut short at age 28 I shudder to think just how many goals he could have signed of scored for us.
  16. Going to disagree L.A You have patently forgotten about a certain young man from Fort William.
  17. Never going to go back to that though. More's the pity
  18. Signed contract extension until 2020
  19. To be honest Manc, not sure I disagree with a lot of what he said there. Opened the aticle thinking it was going to be all about our failure to progress, but he pretty much covers the numerous embarassments our football teams have suffered in recent years. One things for sure getting past the group stages of Europa League seems a lifetime ago. If I'm completely honest, I'm not sure I actually give a flying fuck about European club football. Lets be honest here, it is as corrupt as fuck and controlled by TV money and the big clubs who will make it as difficult as possible for ANY upstart to gate crash their exclusive little party. Oh for the days, that a countires champions and only their champions entered the European Cup and then their was no seeding shite, just a straight forward all the names in the hat and draw the ties. Rant over, it's almost the weekend
  20. Somewhat surprised that Michael Stewart clearly doesn't know about the change in the rules as is still going on about the penalty incident.
  21. Tom's analysis is bang on. Referees mistake was blowing for penalty so quickly.
  22. Out Working Premier Sports Celebrating 2-1 (Rooney & McGinn)
  23. Once an arse, always an arse. Still beating the "old firm" drum. Cunt is so blinkered it defies belief
  24. Forgot to attach highlights
