  1. Fraser is a loss Hanley however on the other hand
  2. Have we got two Hedges now Manc ?
  3. Nothing wrong with a bit of early Genesis mate ? Been listening to a fair bit of this guy's stuff today whilst working - Dave Mason, album is entitled It's Like You Never Left Have to say wasn't familiar with him and reading up on him appears to have been more successful as a solo artist in the States than back here. Started out in Traffic, many many years ago
  4. Out Work TV Bed 2-0 ( Hedges & Ferguson) Big game this one for us. Need to get over disappointment (expected) of last weekend Also need to get back into third ahead of yet another international break or we're playing catch up when we return and we all know where we go when we come back so that gap could become rather larger. Regarding Watkins, see McInnes making noises about trying to extend loan until season end and it would appear that with Bristol two points off second in the Championship that they would appear to be doing fine without him
  5. In a way I agree with your comments regarding Griffiths as he really is a twenty four carot tool but and it is a big BUT he does have this knack of coming up with something special. To be honest I think if he had sorted himself out (never going to happen now) he could have played at a level far higher in European football than the VicTIMS.
  6. Well watching that shower last night whilst hugely satisfying does however make our failure to lay a glove on them to any great extent all the more annoying, as they patently are nowhere near the side they were. If the knives weren't out for Lennon before, they most certainly are now. Reckon if we'd actually beaten them last Sunday then Lennon would be out the door by mid day today.
  7. I applaud you sir ?
  8. Disagree with the same shit part, although ultimately the same outcome. 100% agree with the other part of your opening sentence and bizarrely felt and said exactly the same yesterday afternoon.
  9. Hibs Hibs it yet again as Tom said

  13. Hear what you're saying Rico, I have no insider knowledge but £5k is the figure widely speculated upon. Also rumoured to be paying Ryan Edwards £3k per week......that is just fucking mental if true. The boy Fuchs that has just joined them certainly won't be on an average United wage They must be paying a decent wedge to a few as did they not lose £3.8m during their last season in the Championship ? Regarding Shankland, it has long been speculated that the Amercian owner has been topping up his wage. I also agree regarding his value. I'm not certain they're going to get top dollar for him and reckon that at present his stock might actually be in decline
  14. I reckon they thought when getting in McNulty that Shankland would have been off before window closure. Going about it all the wrong way if it is correct that acquisitions in window just closed are exempt for cuts. Allegedly paying £5k per week for McNulty. Now, I've got to say that the Arabs are a club (and supporters) that I would take a great deal of schadenfreude from normally but to be honest this really is a ticking time bomb in Scottish football at present and no one is going to be unaffected by this loss of income. Need them to get through this like the rest of us.

  17. Meanwhile today over in The Netherlands, Ajax win 13-0 away from home.
  18. Ah fuck just seeing this. I have to confess to being a big fan of Ebbe A real character in a game where there are far too few of them nowadays Two cup finals in a season where we finished bottom of the league, conceded seven at Parkhead and six at home to the Victims, and lets not forget that eleven goal thriller that night at Fir Park By fuck it was a real rollercoaster of a time Thanks for the memories Ebbe. And to those that wished him out of the Pittodrie hot seat, it was a classic case of be careful what you wish for given what came after him. Once a Don, Always a Don Rest In Peace Ebbe.
  19. No abuse from me L.A Has to be said that it was outstanding, credit where credit is due.
  20. Get well soon mate. Good performance and three points on Sunday to aid thee recovery.
  21. No and not necessarily so to answer your two questions IMHO.
  22. In fairness Tup he only really missed playing for us for five months of one season but I guess if he'd had a purple patch during that time he would be sitting pretty close to the hundred.
  23. Holy mother of Got
  24. Where's Manc when you need him. Thursday and no weekend match thread As I've stated elsewhere hoping that they get a right good doing on Thursday evening and are feeling sorry for themselves off the back of two comprehensive defeats. A little early to predict the team as we await injury updates on Hayes & Edmondson as well as those currently on their way back from longer term injuries. One wish obviously for the game. please don't leave anything out there guys. This lot are vulnerable and there to be beaten. Derek don't try another of your game management masterclasses where you worry about their strengths instead of playing to ours. Out - obviously Walking dog on the beach TV Doing my radio show 2-1 (Hedges and Considine)
