  1. Think I should be perfectly ok for AEK ticket but Sparta is another matter all together. To be honest can only hope that it being the week before Xmas is enough to put folk off going to this. Alternatively, I could mug @RicoS321, steal his passport and priority points and get a bit of plastic surgery to attempt to pass myself off as him

  3. Is Devlin still suspended for this one or was it a one game ban he received for the red against Falkirk ? If he is missing, then we potentially have an issue as looking at the way Gyamfi went off on Saturday suggested he might be out of for this one. If he is then we play Devlin @ left back and Jensen @ right back. If however Devlin was still suspended then would Thelin play Shinnie at left back or throw in Frame for his debut. In summary, I haven't got a fucking clue what'll happen with the defence tomorrow. Actually on reflection I haven't got a clue how we'll line up at all and who'll start the game for us. Normally by the point of the day before the game my optimism level has increased but not today. Have got the major fear for this and have a feeling our run will continue for another week at least, as can't see us getting anything out of Motherwell on Saturday either. Anyone wanting return flights to Athens and Prague ? At least I have free cancellation on the accommodation Out Working Red TV 3-0 No Dons scorer Off to bed in a bad mood, yet again.
  4. And a MOTM this weekend I believe
  5. Played for Liverpool in pre season games and his summer, signed a contract extension with them, and then went back to the Arabs on loan. As Jute said it appears it was paper talk only that we were in for him.

  7. I am in the same place as I have been the past few weekends. Absolutely raging about the shite on view on a Saturday and angry immediately after the game. By the time I have slept on matters and am calmed down a bit, I start to think that maybe, just maybe he can turn it around. Can't really quantify how I can justify feeling that way and maybe it is just because I really hope he can but in my heart of hearts I am far from convinced he can. There is an international break coming up in October and we have three league games and our first European game prior to that. If there is no real signs of improvement and points on the board by then, then I rather feel it is time for change. Is there anyone in Scotland that I would consider as a replacement, well not really apart from Robinson, who seems to able to polish a turd and get results but the product on offer wouldn't be attractive. Out with Scotland I haven't got a clue, but then as fans that's not our responsibility.
  8. If you're surrounded by mediocrity it is very easy to be dragged down to that level.
  9. I said after last weekend that the credit was running really low, but actually thought we might get a reaction today from them. Frankly there is literally nothing shown during the 94 minutes today to suggest that we are learning from these shocking displays and seem hell bent on just repeating the same mistakes over and over and over again in the hope that we will miraculously achieve a different outcome. Let's not forget, this is the most expensive squad this club has ever had.
  10. ZERO attempts on target Says it all really Fucking horrific and another weekend ruined. Useless bastards
  11. Can't say it hasn't been coming 0-1
  12. Devlin also on, Gyamfi off
  13. Palaversa & Clarkson coming on. Shinnie & Armstrong off
  14. We are second best since half time. Looks like a matter of time before Motherwell score
  15. Goal and an assist for Richardson. Think that might be his third goal of the season so far
  16. Same thing surely
  17. Am I right in thinking that 390 was specifically Scottish football
  18. You'll need to be of a certain vintage to remember the good old days in the 80's & 90's before the explosion of the internet and instant news to appreciate this. If you are you'll recollect the excitement of constantly refreshing teletext to get updated football scores and also the latest football news. I was sent this by a mate down south as he thought I'd be interested. Someone has re-created the teletext features and pages as an app for your mobile and although in its infancy it is expected to grow as more and more features are added. I suspect it'll only be of interest to the older ones of us that remember it from its halcyon days. Many a game, particularly midweek ones when there was no radio coverage and this was the only means to get instant (well fairly instant updates) on how your team were getting on. Page 302 was the BBC football index page. ITV brought out a service also, memory seems to tell me their home page might have been 140 I've downloaded and will be using it in the future Anyone else got memories of teletext usage for the football

  20. Given Yengi & Ambrose both scored this afternoon against Ross County can we expect Jimmy to start them up front together on Saturday The other goal in the 3-0 victory was by youngster Sam McLean
  21. Scored with a header in League Cup @ Morton

  24. As an aside, I have zero recollection of us having a player called David Lawrie being with us during the 80's but from what I can see online he was a goalkeeper but left to pursue a career out with football and went to Robert Gordon's. Anyone else mind anything about him ?
  25. Is Rico actually qualified for the job
