  1. One word for that interview; "Embarrassment." I'm convinced even more now he is running us into the ground. If he had the best interest of club at heart one wouldn't have sounded so deranged. I actually shed a tear while listening to his nonsense.
  2. I was thinking about us potentially going ten without a win later and the thought that Stephen Glass getting us out of a hole 25 years ago in Play-Off against Dunfermline Athletic came to mind which given how awful he's been as manager was a scary proposition one being in same position as man in charge we didn't want to disturb. Anybody else realised this frightening prospect if we don't sort ourselves out quick??
  3. Good to see all three substitutes involved in Ramirez equaliser. I believe it was Watkins that won header on halfway line then Jet spread ball out to Hayes before his shot got fumbled by Laidlaw and rest is history!!!
  4. Anybody agree but doesn't our away record in Europe need to improve dramatically for us to see any great benefit?? If you take it as far back as mid nineteen nineties when I got my first taste of European action. Some really awful scorelines. 0-0 Skonto Riga, 3-3 Barry Town, 0-0 Nistru Otaci, 3-0 Sigma Olomouc, 1-0 Sporting Circle Fola Esch, 2-0 Apollon Limassol, 1-1 Chikhura Sachkhere to name just a few. I would argue 2-1 Kairat Almaty, NK Maribor 1-0 were also huge disappointments.
  5. I know silly people can edit any Wikipedia page but look at Lewis putting Lionel Messi to shame below!!!!!!! 34 GOALS IN JUST NINE MATCHES THIS SEASON???????
  6. Last Goal the winner right?? Think that was Lewis Ferguson's 7th European goal for us and probably his last in all honesty. Thank God I didn't make the effort to come up. Mind given all the Covid-19 stadium protocol would only have done my brain damaged head some more distress anyway. Forget tactical nous, individual ability even. We just don't seem to have a great self belief when it is really required. Looking at the Europa League Last 32 it does look VERY STRONG AND COULD BE QUITE TASTY!! Europa Conference League Last 32 has a side from GIBRALTAR IN THERE TOO!! Lincoln Red Imps dropped down through all three continental competition though.
  7. I'll take FC Basel, MACCABI TEL AVIV!!, FC Flora Tallinn please!!!
  8. We have no chance in the second leg given one has that Austrian referee Harald Lechner officiating who did us over at Pittodrie against HNK Rijeka 2019!!
  9. Loved this man's solo material for well over twenty years now.
  10. Anybody ever heard of this boy?!?! I quite like the sound but lyrics seem a bit tasteless right?? Don't even know how I stumbled across him!!
  11. If I could choose who we get in Group Stage it be Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel), Bodo Glimt (Norway), Red Star Belgrade (Serbia). Nowt wrong with being confident next fortnight right???
  12. Right number of goals predicted and did say Lewis would get one and Christian a brace so does that mean I can get three quarters of a return?!?!?!
  13. Big Al, I usually do have a bet on most of our matches but Covid-19 really sucked the life out of me football betting wise especially with no crowds and results were maybe a bit fake as a consequence. I usually do £19 Lewis Ferguson Anytime Scorer plus one or two other things even aside from Aberdeen game. So annoyed as Ferguson obviously scored in both home matches against Celtic last season. His opener in 1-1 draw was actually on my 41st Birthday as have a friend who is a Celtic supporter and he was 47 on same day and we joked how to keep us both happy it should end in a draw!! Somebody while I remember needs to update our 2020-21 Wikipedia page as missing last three or four leagues games!!!
  14. Nope. I don't do online gambling and I've not been to my local bookies 15 miles away since November 2020. I just say stuff like this to give me an interest.
  15. 4-1 Aberdeen. Christian Ramirez (2), Lewis Ferguson, Ross McCrorie.
  16. Mind I got a great behind the goal view of that late Graeme Shinnie winner at Pittodrie!!!
  17. Came across this a few weeks back by complete fluke. Still trying to figure out if it is any good!! Never even heard of said band.
  18. Tom, I just love Aberdeen fans that don't do their homework!!!
  19. For a laugh I've put £1.25 e/w (100/1) a quarter of the odds on Jet to be in Top Three Goalscorers for SPFL Season 2021-22. I'm thinking either Odsonne Edouard or Alfredo Morelos maybe both will be leaving league soon enough and potentially really only Kevin Nisbet and Christian Doidge at Hibernian or Liam Boyce at Heart Of Midlothian that might spoil things. I guess not all of them will have a great season. Then again somebody like a Jason Cummings or Billy McKay could scupper me. Not really going to miss £2.50 over next eleven months. Had just two bets at Glorious Goodwood Festival past week. Collected myself some £25.50 profit as one won (15/2) other placed third (9/1). Actually missed betting a little bit. Don't do online but obviously shops have been closed for a long time past 16 months. Got a mate to stick a bet on Euro 2020 Final and secured said £160 pinch when backing Leonardo Bonucci £10 Anytime Goal (20/1) so all is well.
  20. Aberdeen 3 v 3 Dundee United Lewis Ferguson (17) Charlie Mulgrew (8) Christian Ramirez (42) Nicky Clark (56) Jay Emmanuel-Thomas (77) Lawrence Shankland (69)
  21. USELESS INFORMATION ALERT!!! Marco Di Bello the Italian referee in charge for second leg against Breidablik at Pittodrie on August 12th does celebrate his 40th birthday same day. I hope he is in a good mood.
  22. Don't want to worry anybody but the place in Iceland we'll be playing in appears to be twinned with WUHAN, CHINA!!!
  23. Did David Hagen not pass away year or so ago from same thing as Fernando Ricksen??
  24. I once nearly started a fight between a guy and the Quiz Master in my local pub. The question was; "What football club became the first all seater stadium in the UK?" Obviously it is us. However a lad taking part was adamant it was Clydebank. I was in the same team as this man and did tell him it was my team but I got out voted by rest of team who thought because he was much more older than me would know more regarding football history so we wrote down Clydebank. He's a Hibernian supporter so I've forgiven him now. When Quiz Master read out 'Aberdeen' as answer to question there was an argument ensued which must have lasted like ten to fifteen minutes.
  25. Thinking about Calvin Ramsay making that European debut last Thursday night. The 5,665 permitted crowd for said game was crap beyond belief which is being nice. But so happy he, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas plus Christian Ramirez they had a support of sort in Pittodrie regarding their continental debut which should be treated very preciously where I'm concerned. Just wonder twenty five year from now if our No.22 might have his name forgotten when asking; "Name your Aberdeen right back who while earning first Europa Conference League start at 17 year old shone against Swedish side BK Hacken?" Any other Dandy related question folk would trip up on??
