Mad that we could have got a run to the final without encountering another premiership team if we had just beaten Darvel.
Yeah because the rounds were already organised and the actual draw is for entertainment value.
A similar logic could be 'Mad that Scotland could have qualified for South Africa if Iwelumo had scored against Norway' -
Bebo possibly trying to be too 'clever' with that penalty
Hendry just fuck the sponsors with the semi final draw by picking both the warm balls -
MoTD might be more 'watchable tomorrow night now all the potential pundits have pulled out.
-
Id like to to think the BBC are going to regret doing that but given it seems (to me at least) they are getting more and more to be another branch of the tory media machine I doubt it.
Shearer and Wright have apparently pulled out of tomorrow's MoTD
Add this to 'hiding' an episode of Attenburgh's latest show on Iplayer and its been a fine day for Auntie -

You have clearly not met me as I am too much of a tight bastard to throw money and too much of a fat bastard to waste a pie on a cunt like Goodwin.
Its your history of dropping sparklers that is raising suspicion

You dont get to see the Dons goals but Gorter's celebrations are worth a watch
Skip to 11:59, 17:38, and 18:04

Sicker for the Arabs. Cant beat a team that lost to Darvel.
Bit sad to see the Shed empty. Says alot about where that team are at the moment. -

Fit was he spouting off about Tom ?
'written in the stars' for United to win so he was putting money on it
Cosgrove went for the Dons -
Nice to know Tam Cowan may be out of pocket given his spiel on 'Off the Ball' this afternoon

Cormacks decision to keep Goodwin is an absolute joke his statement says the senior members of the team are behind Goodwin he brought most of these under achieving players to the club and most of them are not fit to wear the shirt Mcormack I can assure you the fans that pay good money to watch this shite are not behind you or Goodwin and we will now call for all true Aberdeen supporters to make our dealings known at the next home game let the demonstrations outside pittodrie begin
this decision and piss poor statement shows that you don’t give two f???s about our club shame on you all
How much is postage?

Would need to check stats but do wonder if prior to the advent of TV money if it was less common for the champions of the various euro leagues to also win their countries main cup competition (ie 'the double, or trebles) therby qualification for the ECWC had more status.
Its demise was well underway when i got interested in footie but i do remeber thinking it was 'cheap' for the scottish cup runners up to get into it but then again Ive always thought it is 'cheap' for the majority of teams im the champions league to not be actual champions and in some cases to never have even won their domestic leagues.
I did only skim through that video but the section with the dons in it is fairly patronising and dare i say it ignorant of world football at the time. Dynamo Tblissi were one of the better teams in the USSR and had knocked liverpool out of the european cup only a couple of years before.
Of course that doesnt fit into the 'underdog' narrative

Disagree totally. If we could get a manager with Strachan’s pedigree we should not be hesitating. Total no brainer for me.
What pedigree?
Take out the free hit which is Celtic and he hasn't exactly set the heather alight. Spent lots of money at the clubs he managed too for little return.
He was generous enough to stick £600k in the dons coffers for Lee Miller though

A leftfield suggestion, but my preference would be for Hemin Fahzát - up and coming coach who was part of the management team at MTK Budapest prior to György Bognár coming in, so has worked with both Miovski and Ramadani in the past and hopefully knows how to get the best out of them.
Panda, make it happen.
Would only work if he forms a partnership with his goalie coach colleague Domika Contovit
