  1. Everton - Brand New Stadium seriously fucking them over financially and facing a potential 12 point deduction for their financial affairs
    - £500million and rising by the day
Aston Villa - One new stand + upgrade to other 3 (10000 extra seats), new multi use venue/ fanzone, 6500sqm landscaping and new club shop
    - £100million + rising by the day
Ulter GAA - Brand new Stadium
    - Min £130million + rising by the day
Man City - North stand expansion (7900 extra seats), new hotel, Tv studio and 3000capacity fan zone
    - Min £300million + rising by the day
Newcastle - Club just started talking about expanding St James Park again (13000 extra seats - allegedly partly to avoid getting done by FFP rules).
    - I Estimate min. £120million to due restricted site

Be surprised if hampden gets £15million once all that has been siphoned off

  2. By the time they have bailed out Everton, wasted several million on consultants who I thoroughly expect to then say redevloping Casement Park is not worth it so just move the Belfast games to London, given a large wedge to G4S to errect 1mile radius herras fences encircling all the grounds, and given Club wembly several licks of paint, there should be just enough left over to replace a couple of locks and/or doors missing from the other stadium toilets.

I believe we collected 166,000 euros for the point gained which is something like £143,000 pounds sterling.

I know we got £2.5 million or near about for just being in Group stage but is £140K really going to help the club coffers and if so could that amount be something that covers the plane journey cost to Frankfurt?

+ large crowd (tickets, hospitality merchandise, food, drink, halftime draw etc).

Im assuming season tickets werent valid so allowing for expenses/ costs club might have earned 300-400k on top of the 143k 'prize money'

Sadly Silva's loyalty in modern game is very rare nowadays at top level.  Wishful thinking at least

'Loyalty' is alot easier when you play for one of the richest teams in the world.
Its pretty hard for another club to tempt you away when they can't match/ improve your wages.

When your main career will naturally end before you reach 40 assuming you don't get crippled by a mistimed tackle, loyalty is a luxury you may not be able to afford

Scotty Pippen's Chicago Bulls career springs to mind.

  5. One thing I personally hope doesnt become a legacy of the tournament is the american style referee announcements after a VAR decision.

Although it would be interesting to see how many scottish refs were able to keep the smugness out of their voice when they award a penalty to the Tic or SEVCO

The huns and tims are both vulnerable at the moment to be fair and he's got a plastic pitch.

Seem to recall Sportsound mentioned its going to be ripped up and replaced with grass soon.
