  1. If the linesman hadn't flagged for offside when Maguire was a yard onside at 1-1 maybe it would be different....

Havent seen the highlights but i felt considine was offside for our 3rd and the linesman let it go

The officials had nothing to do with us losing and even if bebo had been allowed to bear down on goal, I cant remember the last time and Aberdeen player scored from a one on one situation with a keeper. They always shoot straight at the goalies legs

    3. Ptkdon  Hammer

    4. Bilbo. I don't care I'm giving up Aberdeen FC to support Sol Bamba.

    In Canada

  3. For those who have the 95 cup final on video, about 2seconds before glass crosses into the box for shearer you see someone suddenly raise a flag in the crowd. That was me and my claim to fame for about 2weeks after.

That was my first visit to Hampden and I cant honestly say it was as exciting or great for me as it appears to have been for others.

The afore mentioned flag was lost in the 2000 semi final vs hibs by my ex girlfriend who left it on the Ullivei dons bus (or so she claimed). Just typical that the first time that flag goes to a game without me it gets lost.

The afore mentioned girlfriend also put a damper on what little enjoyment there was to be had at the 200 scottish cup final. I mean when ya lose yer only goalie after 2mins you just have to accept its not your day and make the most of it. Oh no. The tears began to flow and any sign of a smile on my face was greeted with glares and harsh words.

I seem to recall some campaign for everyone to bring confetti to make our support look like the 86 world cup. I purchased an a4pad in the bus station and ended up passing it along my row at hampden. Real shame the swirling wind was blowing in our direction so the paper just ended up in the back row.

  4. Huns to win as it will keep the Europe spot open

    What Euro Spot?

Must say tis very enjoyable to hear the loyal boys in blue giving smith and mccoist dogs abuse when United scored.

Im leaning towards united because they are the underdogs and their victory in the semi final was mainly down to us playing like fannies

ah well the fuckers just equalised. Sounds like a scott severin-esque pass back

  5. im not blaming the ref. We had 2 chances to hoof the ball into the celtic half and both times the defender kicked fresh air. Suddenly they got space and as soon as that ball was played in you knew it was a goal. My only hope was there would be a flag or a foul or something but no.

Made me so sick I actually went into work for 3 hrs  :hammer:

But at the same time they hit the woodwork so many times it should have been over long before jeff scored (and frankly id say that was one of the goals of the tournament)

If the replay is on a tuesday then ill be going along but I cant see anything other than a hammering. That is unless we demand and fill our 10% (or is it 20%) allocation.

Imagine the look on the celtic fans faces if between 6 and 12 thousand dons fans turned up.  :ooh:

  6. At 6ft 4 I was unable to physically sit down without turning at an angle to the empty seat next to me. Sheerluck that person couldnt make the game.

Im not exaggerating either. As i went to sit down i dropped about 6in and my shins hit the top of the hardwood seat back infront of me. I fell back a bit and lowered myself about 2in further and my ass hit the back of my seat. I was wedged and my shins were screaming in pain. Had to actualy be hauled out by my mate :stretcher:

    as for this game

11am megabus out of glasgow. Arrive at 1325 and walk in the general direction of the stadium hopefully reaching one of the pubs in time to hand over money to the GUASC.

and its the Jerry Kerr stand again

  7. 2-1 dons now

if it stays this way the table will look like this

                              G P W D L F A GD

    1. Arab Contractors 2 3 1 0 1 3 2 1

    2. El Alominiom        2 3 1 0 0 3 3 0

    3. El Ittihad            2 3 1 0 1 3 3 0

    4. Aberdeen            2 3 1 0 1 2 3 -1

  8. fae RedWeb:

he SPL have just announced the fixture amendments to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League fixture list 2007/08

The initial Setanta broadcast schedule has been announced.

Below are the changes which effect Aberdeen FC:

    Aberdeen v Hearts WAS 11/08/07 KO 3:00pm, NOW Sunday 12/08/07, KO 2:00pm

    Aberdeen v Celtic WAS 18/08/07 KO 3:00pm, NOW Sunday 19/08/07, KO 2:00pm

The following games have been changed due to Aberdeen's involvement in the UEFA Cup.

Rangers v Aberdeen WAS 22/09/07 KO 3:00pm, NOW Sunday 23/09/07, KO remains 3:00pm

Aberdeen v St. Mirren WAS 06/10/07 KO 3:00pm, NOW Sunday 07/10/07, KO remains 3:00pm

    Bastard!

Ive got a 25mile mountain walk on the 17th and was looking forward to listening to the celtic game on the final leg. Just typical of them to move it to a sunday instead of a 1230 saturday kick off (like st mirren last season)

    :hammer:
