Arabs join St Johnstone in the top flight teams being eliminated group.
No one team has qualified for the next round yet but Airdrie and Ross County look pretty much certain -

I see some team in Glasgow has given him a chance. Really is a tricky situation to navigate in the current climate of cancel culture and the like.
And following on from North Lanarkshire kicking Clyde out of Broadwood for signing him, glasgow council potentially terminating lease agreement with glasgow united for playing him in a friendly match

Great start for the host nations, sounded like it took the Auckland crowd a bit to get into it (anthem was quiet as hell on tv), but grew into the game. Must have been some noise in the ground at full time. Was a decent watch too, much better than expected given the ferns’ form. Japanese referee was excellent too. Got all the big decisions right. Looking forward to the Philippines game now.
I'd blame the design of Eden Park.
Terrible stadium for atmosphere compared to the 'Cake Tin' and whatever the new Dunedin stadium is called (They still had the 'house of pain' Carisbrook when I was there).

Without consulting Google, it seems to me we always play Celtic in either our first home game or their first home game. I can't remember us getting the better of them in the opener either, other than Hignetts first home game
Consult AFC heritage instead (Im only going back through my lifetime)
Season opening games against the tic (first home for either)
2022/23 - Tic 2-0 Dons (Welsh & Jota)
2012/13 - Tic 1-0 Dons (Kris Commons with 12 mins left)
2009/10 - Dons 1-3 Tic (Watched in Curlers on Byers Road (full of tic fans). Mcgeady (2) and McDonald made it 3-0 by HT. Aluko got one back)
1999/00 - Dons 0-5 Tic (Larrson and 2 from Viduka made it 3-0 at HT. Jess missed a penalty almost straight from the restart before Larson and Burchill fininshed it off. Shite day all round with bunch of Tic fans trying to start a fight with me and my much younger mate pre match as we were walking through Codonas, then having their away support singing 'Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Aberdeen' after the 5th goal went in.
1998/99 - Dons 3-2 Tic (Perry, made it 1-0 at HT followed by Blinker OG and Hignett. Larsson scored 2. Tic missed 2 of 3 penalties)
1996/97 - Dons 2-2 Tic (Van Hooijdonk free kick making it 1-0 at HT. Alan Stubbs sent off with Windass scoring the penalty. Shearer then made is 2-1 with 9mins left only for a sickening last minute equaliser by Andreas Thom).
1995/96 - Dons 2-3 Tic (All goals in first half. Boyd OG quickly followed by Jess. Then Collins(2) and Thom scored with the third for me being the start of the demise of Snelders)
1990/91 - Tic 0-3 Dons (0-0 at half time then Mason, Connor, & Ghillhaus came along)
1981/82 - Dons 1-3 Tic (Strachan opened scoring then Tommy Burns and Frank Mcgarvey (2) turned it round)

Leon Mike, Lubomir Blaha.
I will disagree on Mackie though (presuming thats who you are calling Dazzler)

So for the optomists out there its either Dublin or Athens next may for the final

Julian Sands -65
Still havent managed to watch the film 'warlock' after it creeped me out back when my sister rented the video in the early 90s.

Had to leave at half time to try and get last train back. Raging.
No help now but should a similar situation arise in the future megabus now do buses between Glasgow and Edinburgh through the night - 1am, 2am, 3am etc.

Suggestion game will get shifted to St Mirren park tomorrow if it cant get played tonight

I used 'yourparkingspace.co.uk' when I went to see Preston vs Wigan.
Probably not an issue for a pre season friendly but for £6 I got to park on someones drive, 10mins walk from the stadium for the entire afternoon.
There were also various carparks taking cash in hand payments but people were stuck in the jam at the end of the game whereas my space was clear of all that -

So West Ham prove a diddy team can win a european trophy in these fucked up times.
Final for the Europa league is in Dublin
Conference league is still to be decided (for whatever reason)

He was a cracking player in the day. The partnership he and Tommy Coyne had at Motherwell was something else - back in the days when it was us and Motherwell battling it out for 2nd place
When he played for motherwell they finished 9th and 7th.
Dons finished 6th and 8th

Seems he was negotating to buy Morecombe but couldn't provide evidence of sufficient funding.
Reminds me of Hearts after Arabs and Pars had told Romanov to GTF

Dundee United. I remember that game well. To be fair we were the better team but lost 2-1.
The feeling was that we had turned the corner though, only to promptly lose 7-0 to Celtic, before beating Motherwell 6-5.
Mental times really.
Missed out the 2-2 and 1-1 draws with Hibs & Falkirk there. The Hibs draw saw the dons go 2-1 up with 4mins to go only for hibs to go straight up the other end and equalise.
Id say the low point for me was September 2003.
Was moving house and in had planned to get everything done by lunchtime so I could go to the Partick Thistle game but decided give it a miss and despite having a season ticket I didnt go to another game till the end of August 2004.
The whole atmosphere at the club seemed so depressing. -
Some online 'newspage' called 'the athletic' reporting a 21 year old entrepreneur is in the frame to buy them.
Apparently no real signs of wealth and very little details about his companies at companies house

Interesting explainer here of how the Europa League play-off would work and possible opponents should it be us in there.
If you don't have time to read that entire thread (it's 17 tweets) then the short version appears to be, if I've read it right, that we'll play one of the teams from priority group 3, all of which I would say are winnable games.
Which is as per my original post. Was wondering where you were getting all your scenarios from.
Based in Wikipedia the pontial oppenents are from either Pot 3 or 4.
Cant say I back the teams chances against Maccabi Haifa, Olympiacos, Slavia Prague or Lugano but who knows
