  9. This is the other incident the commentator was talking about
  10. Started going to watch the Braehead Clan Ice Hockey games recently and witnessed a fairly heavy concussion last night. Looking for highlights of the game and the 'additional videos' youtube offer came up with this Freak accident and not for the squemish (3:00 to see the replay)
  11. Run away!!!!

Saw the trailer for the yankee remake of 'Old Boy'. Can't say I'll be rushing out to see that one Fear it has received the same treatment as 'Get Carter'

Went to see 'Filth' last weekend Having not read the book I went into it with no expectations or any idea other than what the UK trailers suggested. For me as with 'It's all gone Pete Tong' it is being completely mis-sold it. There are some funny bits but the trailer seemed to imply it was almost a laugh a minute tale of drugs & debauchery akin to 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas as opposed to a very dark tale of destruction'. The international trailer tells it a bit more like it is. Supposed I should have known better given it is Irvine Welsh. McAvoy was very good though...as was David Soul
  16. Up there with yon Michael Jordan 'Last Shot' picture perhaps?
  17. In/oot: Oot Prematcher: Dublin Match: Dublin (some leprechaun museum apparently ) Postmatcher: Dublin Prediction: 1-0 County
  18. Still think Billy Dodds's equaliser should have been voted goal of the tournament
  19. And the previous five '5 year business plans'
  20. Keeps you warm in summer, Cool in winter and guaranteed seagull shit & sea salt adhesion. I do wonder what is going to happen to the listed historic Wurlitzer organ from the old theatre that Jumping jacks were meant to restore and reinstall in their club but seemingly went missing
  21. Did Sepp Blatter not get a serious amount of flack for a similar suggestion?
  22. In/oot: Hopefully In (looking good so far) Prematcher: Car Match: Away end Postmatcher: Car Predition: 2-0 Dons (so thats us fucked now)
  23. I heard there was a hard tackle in that game
  24. I remember sitting in an New Zealand interent cafe listening to that last one. Shite game made even more shite with Jamie Smith missing a Penalty. The only good thing was a glitch in the Cafe's system so although the computer had logged off the audio was still coming through the headphones meaning i got to listen to most of the 2nd half for free. I recall the 1995 one too as I was sent into a panic to find out Snelders wasnt in goal as is wife had gone into labour about 2hrs before kick off. My faith in Michael Watt diminished further when well scored first. MIssed the equaliser as MW coverage in the highlands was (and still is shocking) but managed to tune in for Inglis winner.
  25. Was also limping for a short spell after slipping trying to be a bit clever. 1st goal - Close range shot from shaughnessy after long throw in wasnt dealt with 2nd goal - very decent IMO. Deep cross to back post, headed back to the penalty spot and smith half volleyed the shot into the ground and past the keeper. Hayes missed a one on one with the keeper before we scored and Langfield had a great save when we were caught on the counter attack.
